I got a set of Steinberger double ball ends, from GAK, I think, and they seem to be ok.
Sound like Roto 66.

They had this set on the counter as I was paying for something else. Had a bit of difficulty finding a key to fit my Badass 2 also.

Carlsbro Stingrays seem to be getting a bit of stick here.
I had 2 at different times. Maybe not a great sounding amp but neither let me down at a gig. Ever.
If anybody has one they want to get rid of, I will gladly take it off their hands and give it a loving home.
I honestly think they look really cool as well.

If I saw one in a shop I would have to give it a try.

Nice looking machine. Don't really like pick-guards on sunburst (or any other finish) but that's just my preference.
Have to say though, the bass does sound good in the clip there, fits the music tidy.
Or it could be your playing.
Anyway, nice bass, enjoy.

I had an early 80's Tokai Jazz. I put a chrome scratch plate on it.
I just ordered one for a jazz bass. Fitted no problem- exact fit mind you.
I'd suggest getting one to fit a 70's Jazz as these were what the Tokai jazzes were based on.

I work in a dementia care home. It took me a while to realise that putting music on instead of the telly really does a lot of good.
Music works for a lot of the residents but not all.
We have people like your mate there who come in and do a very cool little gig in the afternoon and all of the residents enjoy it.
We have learned though that some may come back from the concert thinking they have been out with friends from 40 years ago and spend the rest of the day looking for them.
If I could sing I would be doing what your mate does.
I bet he's having a really good time.

I have a Steinberger XQ and that fits in a regular Fender Jazz type case. Bit of padding around the bass.

0.05 inch by the fit.

Still liking them castors.
