    I have and it was good in a passive way, but for the same price as a newbie 44-01 you can pick up a mint 44-02 which is just that bit extra.

    Got mine from Josh on here and it is superb.

    How's about a 44-02? Got a DJ, JO and 44-02. A/Bd 44-94 and 44-02 and had a very hard time justifying the price difference between them.

    Tone/sound and general fit and finish was so close, confident I'd made the right choice of a 44-02 and saved myself enough for a decent Japanese JB too...

    Love the JO and the DJ (both Skylines BTW) and both have their place, but ultimately the 44-02 is that bit more versatile and it's the one I'd go for if the house was on fire!

    You're gonna need to have some form of switching (I'd guess), so you'll have to add another pot to the PB, unless you go stacked (if you can get them/afford them!)

    Damn, damn and damn with small furry knobs on!!!!!

    Just when I thought I was free of all GASeous attacks..... This turns up!!

    It is a thing of beauty and I'm out of cash....:)

    If I can sell a couple of PBs and some Warwicks and it's still around.....

    Good luck with the sale otherwise...

    I've both, and a definite +1 to Josh and Linus.

    Find a local dealer, take the MM and A/B them is the only way you're ever really going to find out. So many variables will make an awful lot of difference.

    If you're ever near Cambridge, you're welcome to come along and try.

    I've also got a 44-02. Idea is to see which I prefer and revaluate (which means I'll probably keep them all.... :) )
