1. I spent yesterday afternoon with Bluey and Francis Hylton and got an AMAZING interview for the magazine! Francis was sounding great with his Atelier Z bass and PJB rig, and Bluey talked about working with all of the different bass players that have been in Incognito - Julian Crampton, Randy Hope Taylor, Francis, Paul 'Tubbs' Williams.. he has even worked with Marcus Miller and Andrew Gouche. I can't want to get the interview out there.. ;-)

Great to see an Android version!

Nick, would you be so kind as to detail the subscription costs please? Some people are perturbed by not being able to see them up front on the Google Play page. When I last had a very quick peek you had to hit the subscribe button to see them eek!

The app is free to download and then you have the option to purchase individual issues or to subscribe. The mag is now available monthly and priced at £1.49 per issue or £13.99 for a 12 month subscription. There's also a one month free trial when you subscribe. I'll add the individual issue prices to the home page in the app - not sure why they're not already showing. Thanks Mornats!

Hi guys,

Thanks for this post.

Just to give you a heads up about what's happening with the magazine. We have been a year or two in the making and we did have some problems finding our feet, but now we're up and running on the Google Play Store for Android (OS 4.3 or higher) and the Apple Newsstand for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. Regarding the YouTube videos, we have made some of our videos public. This was done mainly as a PR tool to help spread the word while we get established, but we'll be cutting that back as we grow, and there's a lot more exclusive video content to be found inside each issue as our interviews are usually in two or three parts.

I hope that helps.

We'd love your feedback, so feel free to get in touch with any suggestions.

Hi guys,

We're looking to take on some extra staff to help grow the magazine and get to work on a new guitar mag that's coming very soon. If there are any creative people out there looking for a new project (ideally with some editorial, marketing or sales experience) then we'd love to hear from you!

Just drop an email with your details to [email protected]

Thanks!

9. On this day in 2012, Tribal Tech made their long-awaited return with the release of their album "X". 2014 also marks 30 years since Tribal Tech started out, and 15 years since Ibanez launched the Gary Willis Signature model! Absolutely love Gary's playing, his approach to improvising and the way he 'hacks' his gear until it does what he wants it to do. A real bass hero.

10. Hi all...

11. Thanks for the kind words about our magazine interviews - really glad you enjoyed the article with Sean! We had a great time catching up during the 2013 John Mayer tour.
If you're a Fender fan you should check out the Anniversary Jazz and Precision reviews from our first issue. Here's Andrew Mckinney explaining a bit about what went on.
