What size is she?
Would your price include a case of any kind?
All the best,

I've had a Gibson SG reissue bass for the past couple of years, has needed new nut, bridge p/u and volume pot but it's a great noise and great to play. Those Tokai gibboalikes seem good value but you gotta get a 30" scale, the long scale ones have always looked wrong, even when Gibson tried it in the old days.

You have to allocate the input bus on each track to let it see the channel of the sound card / mixer, not obvious in the start up book, better described in the full operation manual.

I got a red onion AB box between two basses and a three channel Sansamp, it's good, no noise, no tone sucking.

I've got D'darrio Chromes on a couple of 30" basses including a Gibbo, super smashing. Ordered online from Stringbusters or Strings Direct, not sure exactly which.

CRY OFF!
Apologies all, rehearsal just convened on the Sunday afternoon and in Newcastle so no can get.
Have a good 'un

I've got nylon tape rotosound on my fender BG29, mind it's only 30" scale so tension is no problem. I usually play with a feedback buster and a lump of sponge under the strings by the bridge, a touch of reverb, no horn and an acoustic voice on the Sansamp. All thump and bottom end.
Cheers,

[quote name='silverfoxnik' post='335245' date='Nov 24 2008, 01:14 AM']Hi Stan,
Any idea what it might cost to post? I have a load of old Portastudio tapes that are 20 years old and I'd love to hear them again but don't have the machine to do so.. If the postage cost weren't too unreasonable then I'd be keen to take this off your hands..
Cheers

Nik,
It's approx £7, so what do you reckon?
