1.
Just a bit cheeky listing this and saying you'll put a price when you have time to think about it. I'd have suggested you could have listed it 'after' you considered the price but it'll be the Mods decision if you're fishing for offers or simply new to the game! Nice preamp mind.
Honestly not fishing, sorry if it came off as cheeky or any other way.....I have just been agonising over this..... I know how expensive these things were/are BUT I also know how the economy is etc. I am thinking £325 for the pre amp and £1000(obo) for the mono block. I might be way off re the power BUT, they go for £1800 new and obviously shipping destroys tubes. Like I said, not trying to fish or get rich here. Just think it is silly for me to keep these now.
 2. I have agonised over this for months.... I don't really use either one of these enough in my opinion these days so, it is with a heavy heart that I have decided to cut them loose. I am not in a hurry to sell them so, please bear that in mind re the prices. Both items came home with me from California and are best collected versus me shipping them. Tubes and all that. As I am sure you know, both units can be switched, voltage wise and are well thought of in the industry. Plenty of reviews available on Harmony Central etc. Neither one of them has been smashed to bits on the road, I reserve that for my old TE stuff. The 300w Mono block was sitting idle for the longest time(I bought a vintage Hiwatt a few years back) so, never took it outside the studio. This is in immaculate condition in my honest opinion. £1000(obo). The bass pre amp, the HBP1 has been used exclusively in my home studio and is immaculate. If I was being SUPER critical, I would say there is some obvious rack rash on the top of the unit. Beyond that, immaculate....£325(obo). If I was still doing this as much as I used to, I wouldn't even consider selling BUT, I have far too much stuff and I am not getting any younger. So...Some pictures for you to be getting on with....This has not been an easy decision. Like I said, I am in no need for the money so.....
 3.
20,000 bass players!!! Good luck with the sale. How about putting a picture up on the Wal thread?
Ooooh! Sorry, I missed that! Will do. 8] Are you talking about the 'What is it about WAL's' thread?
 4.
"As one door closes..." best of luck with this deal..
As it stands, Jimmy has first crack at this. I love how people try to 'gazump' deals.....AHAHAHA! Sorry, I am not that shameless/hard-up. 8]
 5.
Have sent a PM God i love Wals
I will miss it BUT, I grew up with the Stranglers, this is far too 'clever' for my Hiwatt custom/P bass attack. 8[
 6. Greetings.....Brand new here and sorry to announce myself in this way. I am selling my 1983 MKI active, fretted WAL. It has the blue WAL case, it is an absolute beauty. I am the 2nd owner. Why you ask? Well, not the usual reasons, ie money etc. I am 47, have been playing for many years and if I am blatantly honest, I am too much of a P bass luddite to own this. Anyways.... Here is a picture of it. I am asking £2200 for it which I feel is fair. I am not after any trades, thanks all the same. Anyone interested can send me a message on here, obviously. I have LOADS of pictures. Thanks. Adam.
