This works for me as well, I will keep increasing the tempo until I can play it slightly faster than needed - which makes it seem easier at the required tempo.

My band is similar, everyone puts the time and effort in and better still we all get on with each other.

Not really listened to them before, I like that though.

I regularly wake up with the bass intro to Peace Sells going in a constant loop.

One of the best crowds we've played to last night. Not the biggest but certainly the most responsive.

We sold a couple of CD's before we played to people who had never heard us before and they didn't try to return them after our set so it must have been ok

Pretty good, a decent sized audience (by our standards ) and a lot of good comments from people afterwards.

Great documentary. In Gene Simmons book he writes about them going to America and how no one could understand Noddy Holder because of his Welsh accent

+1, thought it was great and took real guts to do it.

The band I am in (Crimson Clocks) don't have a guitarist. We did to begin with, and there is one on our recordings. Having said that we have now done more gigs without than with and are about to record another CD that won't feature guitar at all.

Audiences either seem to either dismiss us straight away for lack of guitar or really enjoy what we do - seems to depend on if we are playing in a rock venue or elsewhere

Had a pretty good night last night, did two new songs that went down well and we gave a good performance. Pity there was hardly anyone there to see it though.

I have a Vox Amplug, but wouldn't recommend it because the sound on it isn't great (there's always static in the back ground).

1) My sister was a bass player when I began to learn guitar - I kept hearing her and thinking how much better the bass sounded than the guitar

2) When I was a kid my dad always used to turn the bass up as high as possible on his stereo and I loved hearing the bass lines like that

3) My sister gave up the bass a few years after I got my guitar and I got the chance to buy all of her equipment for next to nothing (still have it all and use it occasionally)
