Thought I'd better drop by and introduce myself... Played bass in my mid to late teens in local bands and then jumped ship and spent nearly 15 years as a drummer. I then lost interest in playing about 3 years ago and now here I am back playing bass with a Buzzcocks tribute band. When I said I'd join the band I thought "how hard can it be to play Buzzcocks songs?"...well...I had a shock to say the least! On first listen they're all over the place but I've managed to pick them up ok and I'm having a great time playing them. I have had a 5 string bass for about 4 years but the B string wasn't getting used enough and isn't very punk, so I've recently bought a Shine 4 string Telecaster style bass. I know they're budget guitars (I was on a budget) but I've had it set up by Peter Allen (highly recommended) and now I have a cracking bass that, including the set up, has cost just over £200. Anyway, I'd better get my ass to work or I'll be in trouble! Catch you's all later.

Hi I've seen an ex-demo Carslbro Bass Reactor 400 watt bass amp and cab for sale. I've trawled the net trying to find info on this peice of kit and can't find much at all. Does anyone know if these amps are any good or has anyone used one? It certainly looks nice, but looks aren't everything!
