1.
Why do you want to change the speakers?

    Alex
Hey Alex

one speaker's blown recently so i need to replace that anyway and i've been toying around with the idea of trying to get something that has a really nice clear, punchy but deep tone aswell...just thinking it'll probably be cheaper than buying a new cab :)

  2. Hi everyone, I'm looking at changing the speakers in my warwick cab/customising it and just wondered if anyone could offer me any advice...

I was thinking of changing them to 4 celestion bl10-200x and 4 celestion bn10-300s

also looking at stripping the carpet off the cab (ripped a bit when we were loading it onto the van last week) and fitting some tolex instead and also possibly looking at having the metal grill removed and having a new grille put on it similar to this:

just wondering if anyone has done anything similar and could give me any info about it/if it'll work etc...

    thanks

  3. thinking about getting a new cab and i'm torn between orange/ampeg

originally i was thinking about an ampeg 6x10 but having second thoughts and leaning towards maybe getting 2 orange 4x10's instead?
so...has anyone used orange cabs and could you offer me any advice on them please...

    thanks in advance

    ray

  8.
My questions are as follows:

    1. Do any of you have an endorsement deal?

    2. If so what does it entail?

    3. Do they look after you as regards to maintanence of your gear and expenses etc?

    4. Do you have a contract?

    5. Did it benefit you in any way? ie did you end up getting better known as a musician or get more work out of it?
Hey man

    hope this helps...

    1. yes
    2. 50% off, min x amount of gigs per year
    3. great service, quick, friendly, helping us book a european tour through other endorsers in europe
    4. yes - renewable daily
    5. apart from cheaper gear, found it easier to get more endorsements for the band etc

    cheers

  10.
Yup.. sure looks like a bloke to me!
I've got a CE24.. brilliant guitar! What's not to get on with? Then again I don't get on half so well with most other things!
we're making him harmonise sweeps for the album so he needs the 27 frets of the caparison :)

  11. not much of a guitar man myself but just found this info, hope it's correct:

The differences between the CE22 and CU22 are as follows.

CE22 has a bolt on hard rock maple neck and the CU22 is a set mahogany neck.

The CE22 has a satin headstock finish while the CU22 has a gloss finish

Also the maple tops on the CU22 are of a higher aesthetic standard. The CE22s can have upto 30% of lifless grain while the CU22 can only have upto 10% lifless grain.

Other than that the guitars feature identical neck dimension options andhardware/electronics.

They do sound different due to the neck with the CE22 sounding that bit brighter with more high mids.

  12. our other guitarist isn't getting on with his new PRS as well as he thought he would have so he'd like to put out a little feeler for it.

pm me if you want some pics as he's yet to send me them.
you can see the guitar in question here:

    he's looking for £1300 ONO
located in lutterworth, pref collect but possibly willing to put on a carrier

    thanks for looking
