Hello there folks.
I've decided to sell (or trade) my OLP MM-2 after 3 years of loyal service. It's been such a great bass to play, and it's been souped up with a Seymour Duncan SMB-4A Alnico pickup which sounds awesome. It's been looked after well, and i've played 5 or 6 gigs with it where it has played extremely well, and is easily one of the most comfortable basses i've ever played. It's got a great kinda flame finish as well, and a tort pick guard.
A couple of things to note:
- The tone knob has come a bit loose in the pot - this happened on my second bass just recently, but it was an easy fix, requiring a simple job of taking it out, tightening the inside up then reapplying.
- The strap holder nearest the neck fell off a while ago, and was replaced by a guitar tech with a black pot instead of the old silver one. It's almost unnoticeable aesthetically, but just to be nitpicky it's there. Personally i think it looks better than the silver one, and considered replacing the back silver one with a black one to match it.
- One of the tuners became loose a while ago, which was fixed by a friend. It now works perfectly fine, and all of the strings tune just fine.
So in conclusion, this bass could do with a bit of work on it, albeit the things are a bit nitpicky and it'd still be a great bass straight from the off. Down to the price. I'm looking for around £250 - £300 for it but am willing to negotiate.
Edit: The pictures don't do the fullness of the colour on this bass justice - honest! More pictures available on request.
Edit: I don't own a hard case for it, but whoever decides to buy it will receive the bass in a gig bag, free of charge.
