5.
Hi there, is the neck construction bolt-on or set-neck on these? Cheers, Bob.
Hi, it's a bolt on neck Bex
 6.
Yes, you will find that "tube-watts" seem much louder than "solid-state watts". I`ve no idea why, I`m sure the technical guys on here will. I think generally, people seem to use the "if your guitarist has a 100w valve amp, the bass amp, if solid-state, needs to be 3 times as powerful" theory. But in reality, if it`s loud enough, it doesn`t really matter what the maufacturers claims are, it`s loud enough - and as said, Trace def do a very loud amp.
Yeah I found that when I was playing. I heard that theory with bass amps too, so I'm guessing that 150w solid state should do the jobs, depending on the speaker size Our guitarist was originally going to use a 100w valve head through a 2x10 cab, but he's selling that now so I think he's going through a 100w solid state now.
 7.
I`ve no experience of that amp, but if comparison to the other bassist in my bands (yes, 2 bassists, it`s the way forward) Trace combo, it will be plenty loud. He uses a 115, I think 150 watt combo, and it is ridiculously loud. The only thing that would put me off is the weight - the 115 combo is heavy, I can`t imagine what the 410 weighs.
Thanks! I wasn't sure because our guitarist said I needed a 300w amp for when we gig, but when we rehearsed last weekend, I was playing through a 50w tube head and a couple of 1x12 cabs and I was the loudest out of everyone... almost louder than the p.a! But at the moment, this is looking like an excellent alternative if I'm not able to get the Ashdown next week, which at the moment, is looking slightly unlikely...
 8. Hi guys, just wondering if anyone has any reviews of the Trace Elliot GP11 4x10 combos? I'm looking to get a new bass amp for my band, and apart from Ashdown's, this one's caught my eye quite a bit as well. And to compare in loudness, how would it fair to a 50w tube head and 2 1x12 cabs? Because that's what I'm borrowing off our drummers uncle at the moment, and it's freakin' loud! I've seen a few go for around £150, but atm they seem to be more expensive, so has anyone seen anyone advertise one for around my budget?
 9. BUMP Yeah, as I'm desperate to sell this I have no choice to sell this for around £120 ONO Possibly even just £100, but I'd rather not sell it that little.
