Excellent suggestion !! -
Very nice !! If I had the filthy lucra spare this would fit in nicely between my BB1000s and BB3000.

Having had and sold a great-condition, stock 3000A, I'd say £600 was a good price.

Ok, maybe I should be more honest, actually I'd be delighted ! -
If it's as good as you say and I was looking for a fretless five string, I'd happily pay £600.
-
Not a lover of semis as a rule...but that is bloomin' lovely !!
-
Early BB5000 is a standard four string with a fifth tuner added and nut, pick-ups and bridge replaced.
-
Never played one, so no idea whether a Dingwall is 'my thing', but if it was, I'd want one like this.

Rode down to the Bol d'or 24hr in '91. On arrival on the Friday afternoon, I bought my weekend ticket, pitched the tent, and settled down to read through the weekend's events.
Live music Sat night...Tidy ! Head line act, Iron Maiden. .....??.....???.........WHAAAAAH !!

Not the P, but he seems reasonably happy with it anyway. .

Going by the prices in these listings, for £40, I'd say you did reasonably well.

True.
As for the OP, your effects order looks good to me. It all depends on what you are trying to achieve though.
What do you use the BP50 for ?
I'd also want to experiment in swapping the OD and the synth wah around, as you'll get quite a different effect depending on which way around you have them.
The BP50 has several useable pre-set 'clean' sounds, auto-wah, chorus, a tidy Jamiroquai 'Deeper Underground'ish synth effect, and even the fretless effect is none too shabby for a 'basic fretless' feel. It's also used for the tuner. Picked it up on FleaBay a couple of years back and it's definately the best £8 I've ever spent. If I was in a situation where I could only have one pedal, the BP50 would be it. -

I see two empty plug sockets; one for the new bass whammy. The other one , I'm not sure about.

Kind of hoping this set up will last.

Before I finish off by shortening power leads etc, does anyone have any opinions/suggestions on whether the pedal sequence needs amending ?
.
I currently have the LS-2 selecting either:

B ) Synth Wah > Over Drive > Chorus > Delay

Sounds fine to me, but maybe I'm missing something that would be better again.

Just realized, there's an 'Effects' section...Doh !

Hartke 'start-up' issue
in Repairs and Technical
Posted
I've had the same Hartke 'Model 2000' (200w) head for about 25 years without an issue, but it's now developed a problem on initial start-up. Everything appears to be ok (LED on, fan running), but no sound. If I turn it off and on again, it works fine.
Any ideas ?
It has an 'anti-thump/soft start' feature where there's a couple of seconds delay before it's fully operating, and I'm wondering if this may be the area to look at ?
Cheers.
