Great show, although putting so many of the bass builders in one corner was a bit of a planning fail considering how much room there was. Highlights for me were the Anaconda basses, Eve basses, BassGear (i got to meet the Fodera guys and play the MGS standard...hubba hubba), and the Enfield basses with Nick Smith demoing.

Yolanda and Rob Harris smashed it as usual as did Chris Hargreaves and many others. Got to speak to some great players, including Lee Pomeroy.

Looking forward to next year

Great playable bass only a couple of months old and only gigged for a few songs. Lovely tone, and i've had it strung both E-C and B-G with no tweaks to the nut or truss rod etc (Currently B-G)

No discernible marks or dings that i can see.

Always loved the look of them, never played one.

Liked my KB1, but alas the body was too small for me and it just didn't hang right when used on a strap, plus the pre-amp was too powerful and clipped any amp with the gain set anywhere above 1/4. I found myself constantly tweaking the eq to get a decent tone which drove me mad

That said, the build quality was fantastic and i just think it was not the right bass for me. If i had the cash, i'd look for a headed KB2 i think, the bigger body would work much better.

I've just moved to a 5'er tuned E-C - a great bit of soloing flexibility

Lovely! I just purchased a Cort 5 which I am super happy with.

It's now strung EADGC and I am going to endeavour to build a ramp for it tomorrow....

Hi folks. Picked up this little puppy today from Badlands Guitars in Brighton. Plan is to tune it E -C and become the next Gwizdala/Feraud/Garrison. Plays nicely straight off of the wall and sounds great through my Genz combo and has usuable tones with the pickups soloed etc

Its a bit neck heavy, but decent strap will help!

I gigged for years with a £70 OLP. Great bass. Agree with an earlier comment re the audience at your average gig not knowing the difference or caring about the tone etc. As much as I lust after a Fodera MGS, my Squier CV Jazz is perfect for my needs.

Ive just sold a Sterling Sub. Great all round bass but the preamp is far too hot on them. I would keep the Yammie!

Classic Vibes get my vote, great versatile usable basses. Have gigged and recorded with my CV jazz and it sounds great.
