  1. No brand (far east manufacture) but decent quality jazz bass that started out as  a fretted instrument but was converted to a lined fretless by Perfectly Good Guitars in Manchester. Nice piece of maple for the neck with rosewood lined fingerboard.
Currently fitted with really comfortable Rotosound Trubass 88 black nylon tape wounds.
Controls are a volume for each pickup and a rotary 6 position preset tone knob from certainbass.com

Comes with quality hard case with a few marks but in robust condition and all latches work fine.

Also has buttons for strap locks fitted, Schaller I believe.

Some dings in the finish as pictured but a great fretless for those wishing to give fretless a try This Xmas and release their inner Jaco.
    Thanks for looking.

i don’t have a box for shipping but could cover case in bubblewrap and send if someone wants to use Basschat’s Eurosender deal at their cost? I sent a five string to Belgium with them and that went smoothly.

  2. Hi

one of these went flash and pop on me recently and a local amp tech is trying to fix it. He says it’s the T Pro-2 module that he needs the schematic for. Apparently Fender get them from a company in Holland but they won’t play ball with the schematic. Official Fender forum closed 20th March ironically and so far no response from their tech support team.

It’s a long shot but would anyone have access to this schematic?

    thanks

    chris

  3. Nice sounds from this piece of vintage Roland kit and comes with lots of bits for attaching the  GK pickup to your bass. Works with standard magnetic pickups too though, but vastly more sounds available when using the Roland pickup. Can blend both mag and GK3B pickup sounds as well.

Includes original manuals for the pedal board, power lead and special cable to connect the pickup to the pedal. The cable has intermittent crackles and should definitely 2FEB0800-8D7A-4C13-957A-03465151F13C.thumb.jpeg.15a33172618fb80fdaf9c1e9bbbe90ee.jpegbe replaced  but brand new ones online are about £13.

Postage extra or cash on collection.

    No trades thanks.

  4. Hi

I have one of these for sale, no trades thanks. It has some cosmetic marks and scratches, but functions perfectly.

It’s a fantastic live tool. Can drive an amp or DI to desk or both. You can plug in two basses and have 3 preset sounds for each, or use one bass and have six presets. There’s an effects loop, 3 outputs including an XLR with pad switch and phantom power via the XLR feed.

Has Velcro on the bottom from pedal board use.

Copy of printed manual also included, no original box but I  will pack securely and price includes postage to UK.

    Thanks for looking.

  5. Hi Greg

Thanks for putting this up.  I would sometimes use my 3rd finger in a rolling technique (finger tip then finger pad) to play the fifth and the octave, before using the second finger to play the tenth.  Works well when you're further up the neck. Down near the nut you might want to use the fourth finger for the roll.

Maybe it's weird for some, I come from a guitar background and it's used a lot in that context.

  6. Just took delivery tonight of Clarky’s ACG Recurve 5er. Fantastic bass and a top man to deal with as expected, found it on FB and thought it might be him. Great comms and total integrity.

  7. I recently bought one of Marco’s latest creations - the Amani 5 string single cut fretless. Fantastic work by Marco and a superb guy to deal with during the sale, answering questions very quickly, including video demos. Absolutely trustworthy, you can deal with confidence.

The tech dealt with the distributor. It was just an instant “you gotta replace the board”. Its such a waste.

I have the tone hammer pedal, which is lucky as I’m now having to rely on it with IEMs. I like the suggestion of a clean power amp. I think it’s that or something that’s not class D. It’s disappinting, I had a GK 700rbII for 8 years before this. Gigging just as much as I do now, and used a lot more for home practice. It was cheaper then the th500. But it never went wrong. Thanks for suggesting the ashdown. I very rarely drive the amp with gain and distortion. Will be interesting to try one.

I use a Tech21 bass driver deluxe pedal, the one with six presets,  into a (heavy) non-class D QSC stereo power amp, going into 2 cabs, one cab per channel. With a Seymour Duncan signal booster pedal and ebs multicomp before the tech 21, I think it’s quite a resilient set up.

I can keep a set going if I lose 1 or 2 pedals, a cab or one of the amp channels during the night.

    Fingers crossed....😆
