1. Yeah - I thought I'd keep quiet and watch the free bumpage roll in Feel free to continue - as I still haven't sold the darn thing But seriously...I would like this to go to a good home where it will be used and loved rather than sat in my bedroom at home, redundant so someone come and buy it
2. I did get shippig quotes and most came back at circa £70, which I thought would be prohibitively expensive.
3. No worries dude Who knows, you might be the lucky guy that snaps this up Only time will tell.
4. It just says 'speaker outputs' on the head as far as I can remember (I'm at work at the moment) but the cab is 4 ohm. I have previously been using the cab with a Marshall DSL 50 @ 4 ohms Hope that helps
5. Thanks for all the positive comments It's a shame I can't keep it but hopefully someone on here will give it a good home!
6. Well, maybe, but I'm not a bassist and am really looking for a cash sale to fund the purchase of a new guitar amp (Orange Dual Terror in case anyone has one )
7. Thanks for all you input so far guys! From the above; I have concluded the head to be the 120/125W version. Still unsure on its actual age but will be giving it a damn good clean tonight and will post any details I can deduce from the amp itself. As far as I know, the cab does indeed have the original white-doned speakers. A big part of me would like to keep it, but it is for sale in the Amps and Cabs section of the Sale forum on this site due to me just not having the space for it moore than anything else. I will also post some pictures up later Thanks again
8. Hi All, I have an Acoustic Model 220 Bass Head and a Model 402 2x15" cab for sale. I have very little info on this as yet, but I will update with any info I find out about it. The amp was purchased and owned by a family member back in the day before being stored in a dry garage for a number of years. I have been using the cab with my Marshall JCM 2000 DSL 50 Guitar amp head and it works and sounds AWESOME. The head is fully working as far as I am aware and I will confirm this once I get home (I am currently at work) I will also take pictures and update this advert later tonight. The amp and cab are in good/fair condition considering their age. I have literally no idea what they are worth, so my asking prices are: Head + Cab = £300 220 Head ONLY = £150 402 Cab ONLY = £200 I am also interested in serious offers! the amp will have to be collected as the combined weight is about 60kg!!! I am located off of J9 M27, Hampshire Thanks for looking! I am available by phone/text on: 07934235994 E-mail me @ [email protected]
9. Thanks mate - I tried asking on the forum and got told to read the products page for specs etc, which I have done already. As I'm only 21, and this kit is way before my time, anything anyone can contribute would be helpful - but really its all so I can put a reasonably well-informed advert together to sell it on. Thanks again.
10. Hi all, I am new to the forum and this is my first post so sorry if it is a bit long winded. I have recently inherited an Acoustic Model 220 amp head and matching 402 2x15" speaker cab that I know little about. So far all the info I have I found here: http://acoustic.homeunix.net/twiki/bin/vie...cousticProducts The amp will be going up for sale soon, but I would like to know anything more about the amp and cab that the above link doesn't cover that someone else might know. Unfortunately, I am not a bassist and the amp is too big for my situation at home - otherwise I'd keep it. Also, as I have no idea what it's all worth any insight into a good asking price would be most appreciated. Many Thanks
