I was wondering if anyone had any opinions about 6 strings, if they are worth getting, your opinions on the best. I've done a bit of digging around and have a few ideas about what constitiutes a good bass but I was wondering about other people's opinions.

Basicaly I was wondering how people actually used them, what context and so on, I'm looking into getting one for practice and writing and was wondering if anyone had any advice. Sorry I know this isn't exactly a bass guitar post but it links into gear and practice and stuff like that so I thought I should put it in this bit of the forum... Oh any, repliers, if there are any, could you please put down what machine/s you have if you do use a drum machine Thanks

Cort all the way. Their custom seiries are beautiful basses. Honestly though, play both, you may prefer the Ibanez. Consider this though, Cort make something stupid like 40% of the world's basses, lots of Fender, Gibson and IBANEZ basses are actually made at the Cort plant so, bassicaly they will see any problems/good things on other basses and will either sort them out on their own or replicate them. A hidden gem.
