  1. Hi,

Can anyone recommend an excellent Active / Powered USB Hub that would work with my MacBook Pro please? Primarily it would be used to connect my Yamaha Motif XS Rack (USB) and my Korg X50 (USB) to the Mac. I'm running Logic Pro X too.

    Any suggestions?

I've been told to go Active / Powered as bus powered may not be sufficient....

    Thanks

  2. I'm currently putting together a fresh new wedding / function / corporate 5 piece band and are on the hunt for a lead vocalist (male or female), guitarist and keyboard player to complete the current experienced line-up.

The set will consist of covers from all genres such as Indie, Soul, Pop, Rock, Motown etc.. I'm not looking to join the countless other such bands out there all playing the same songs, but looking to add that little bit more variety.

So, if your 100% committed, reliable, versatile, willing to rehearse and understand what is needed within a professional / semi professional band then please get in touch...

Looking to rehearse as soon as possible once the right people are in place. Looking to rehearse anywhere between the Watford and Milton Keynes areas.

    Thanks for looking...

  3. Look at the Korg X50. It's based on the triton and is a fantastic addition to any keyboard players rig. It's as light as a feather too and has a 61 note keyboard. Only critism is that the keys, although playable, are very slightly shorter than normal and I mean only slightly which does take a little getting used to on those faster runs.

In my opinion you won't find better for less than £300.

  4. I can't praise them enough... I've had them for all my cabs so far. I recently order a pair of padded ones for my Schroeders. When they arrived the handle holes were a little too small in that I couldn't get my fingers in to grasp the handle itself.

Phoned Roqsolid and spoke directly to Bryn. He said return them and to quote thevref number. Within 3 days they had been returned to me along with a cheque to cover my postage and packing costs.

I've only ever purchased the padded ones and so far think they are superb.
