1. Thank you guys for the good reviews of these basses. They are great-i just never play mine. Its got lovely strings on it, so sounds much richer than the stock strings. It's a steal and I will regret it no doubt. Cheers, Ruairidh.
2. BUMP Price drop to £550 plus P&P.
3. Hello everyone. Im selling this bass as i've got GAS for a 6 string bass and already own a Double Bass. Never been gigged. I upgraded the strings to Thomastik Infeld strings to improve the tone which made a vast improvement over the stock strings. Comes with gig bag, tripod stand and bow. £580 plus P & P. Im located in Glasgow so if you wish to try it feel free. PM me or e-mail at [email protected]
4.
If you haven't already looked, the spec is 43lb (19.5kg) and measure 13.8" wide x 17.9" deep x 17.5" tall.
Yeh they're easy to carry-incredibly loud loo. I can fit 2 4x5's and my M-500 in the boot of my Fiesta.
5. These amplifiers speak volumes for themselves. I can't explain it very well without gushing; so here's the official facts. http://www.philjonespuresound.com/products/?id=6 I'm looking for £575 for it, as it is a very beautiful amp. Also parting with Piranaha 4x5's http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=88541 Thanks for looking. Ruairidh
6. BUMP Sounds like an odd request, but id trade this PJB cab for a P-Bass/good 4 string of some sort. Ruairidh
7. Bump for price drop.
8. My reason for selling half of my PJB cabinets is; is that having both is too loud for my style and I also need the money. Looking for £200 plus p&p I can meet people at a reasonable distance if they wish to try it out. Thanks for looking Ruairidh.
9. Bump....
10. BUMP Pics added.... up top!
11. Please Remove.

Traded my Spear bass with Matt who is a top guy to deal with!
13. The spear has been traded for the nice maple necked tony levin. The low B on these basses isn't as tight as it would be if it was a 35'' but its not 'floppy' in anyway. I assume its the sheer amount of wood that helps the B maintain its low rumble. I'm sad to see it go! RPM
14. I own one of these and if i had the money right now i'd buy this as a backup. All modern multi-effect's units out there which are total rubbish in comparison to ME-8B IMO. It just takes a while of getting used to. You can create a mash up of loads of sounds as it has so many, with different variables. If anyone wants a rough idea of how you can make it sound, i'd use Stuart Zender in his Jamiroquai days as a reference. He made these pedals famous. Listen to these Jamiroquai songs where Zender uses his pedal. High Times, Just Another Story, Deeper Underground, Hooked Up, The Kids, Blow Your Mind, Space Cowboy(Stoned Again Version-not the Randy Hope Taylor version-im sure its him on track.) I bought mine from eBay, all in perfect condition 2 years ago, with PSU, manual and original box. I wont disclose the price i paid for mine, as you have a specific price you want for yours. These are the best multi-effects pedals NOT available on the market. Regards. Ruairidh.
15. Long shot, but would consider a trade for an OLP Tony Levin Sig preferably with the maple neck. RPM
16. Mid-week BUMP! RPM
17.
Hi - what's going on with the G string in the photo's ? Regards, Ed.
It was a schoolboy error basically. It has thru-body stringing and when i went to cut the strings to fit and restrings the bass, id cut the G about .5cm too short to go through the body. Luckily iv replaced the string since then. It does look a bit daft in the picture, but there is nothing wrong with the thru-body stringing bridge. RPM
18.
Argh, you're killing me here, I want this so much. Is that £200 posted?
Note that the price won't go any lower, as i'd rather keep it for sentimentality reasons than see it go for a stupid price. The buyer would pay the postage & packing. It would be between £15/£20 based on my previous experience of shipping basses. RPM
19. BUMP...... .....for a final price drop as im feeling generous! £200 for this lovely bass. Regards Ruairidh RPM
20. Cheeky wee BUMP! RPM
21. BUMP Incase anyone who wanted this bass missed out the last time. RPM
22. Back up for sale due to a time waster. These basses are quite hard to come by in the UK due to limited suppliers, so grab a lovely unique bass that nobody else will have. Regards, Ruairidh
23.
Shame you have to get rid of this mate! It's a beauty I've owned a Jazz Deluxe, and I much prefer my passive jazzes! How are the injuries? Si
It is a shame its going. It sounds great with the Badass, but iv already got a 5 string US Deluxe jazz in mind. I sold 2 basses to help fund it. This bass is now sold! As for bikybongo, ill have a think about that bass if the other 5 string deal falls through-its a gorgeous bass you have!
24. My favourite 4 string is up for grabs here. Fender Japanese '64 re-issue, Passive bass. I traded this on Basschat last year and had the bridge uprgaded to a Badass 3 bridge which improved the sound quality and sustain of the bass. I also put a ashtray on the bass purely for the vintage look as i believe it compliments the the colour combination well. I also have a white pearloid scratchplate that i would include. This bass only has one small ding in beween the tuners-which is highlighted in the pics. Its very small, and apart from that the bass doesnt have any other bumps, dings or scratches on it as its been on my wall for so long. Im selling to make my collection smaller whilst trying to fund a US Jazz Deluxe 5. £450 + P&P. Regards Ruairidh.
