Hey all,

I'm starting to teach again this year and will be taking on new students from now for both Bass and Guitar lessons.

I have 5 years experience teaching, from 6years right up to 60, fully CRB checked and used to teaching groups as well as one to one.

I also have 5 years extensive touring experience around the world. Grade 8 with distinction in Bass and Electric guitar. BA(Hons) in music, specialising in Bass and Double Bass.

Will happily teach beginners Double Bass also (technique, positions & posture, ear training etc).

All levels and styles catered for. Will happily go through grades with people but don't feel that's 100% necessary (unless you want the extra points for UCAS etc).

Taster lesson only £10 for an hour, £20 per hour thereafter. Willing to travel in the Merseyside area if transport is covered. Temporarily teaching from my house but will soon be moving into a city center rehearsal studio where all further lessons will be held.

Hi All,

Moving house in a few weeks so I'm trying to shift some bits to make the job easier!

For Sale I have:

[b]M Audio X-Session Pro Midi DJ Mixer £40[/b]

Set out like a standard DJ mixer, it links to a program called Torque LE, which you can download from the M-Audio website.

Can also be used as a midi controller for other applications.

Fully boxed with instructions, driver CD and USB cable.

Used a handful of times, box is a bit dog-eared but the unit itself is in nearly new condition other than a couple of scuffs on the bottom.

[b]Fostex 812 Mixing Desk £40 [/b]

12 channel into 8 sub-group mixing desk. Direct outs from each of the 12 Mic Pre's.

Haven't used it in a while but it still powers up. Checked a mic through it and all but channel 11 work.

Had to get the headphone amp taken out because it blew and didn't get it replaced but it has aux outputs that could be sent to an outboard one.

Semi-parametric lo-mid and hi-mid and a 10k shelving EQ on each channel.

Blanket phantom power over all channels.

Some fader covers missing.


Will be happy to post all at the buyers cost but collection is preferable on the Keyboard and Mixing Desk.

What sort of guitar setup you after?

Hi All,

Selling on behalf of a mate!

Akai MPC 500 Portable Music Production Center.

It's a sampler, it's a sequencer. Great in the studio or for triggering samples/playing big hefty sub-bass lines live.

I've had it for a while and they're great fun. The guy who owns it used to use it with our band live but with new directions it isn't needed anymore.
