hey up pal. dont suppose youd be interested in a possible trade with a Geddy Lee jazz??
Hi Rob I would be if I did'nt already own one, if you check out my personel picture I'm playing it on that. Awsome Bass, really like the slim neck and is usually my guitar of chioce live along with another Jazz I had built. Would think someone would snap it up. All the best Rickster.
Wow. Do you have any preferences? You clearly have some experience to share. I think you owe it to your host market members. That's a disturbingly clean thumbnail you have there though
With regards to preferences, I quite like playing the Bongo and the 4HH, but to be honest I've never played them live as I always play a Jazz. Don't know why, but sometimes I take other guitars along as a second with the intention of playing them, but only ever get as far as the soundcheck. Comes time to go on I automatically grab my Jazz, must be a comfort thing. However up until recently I always played a Geddy Lee, then I had a Jazz built from bits I bought and got a local Guitar builder to put it together for me and now it's turned into my numero uno. Sounds amazing must be the DiMarzio super Jazz's.
I keep having a cursory glance at that 4HH - very nice. Just out of interest and not that it matters - are you a dealer Rickster?
At first glance it would appear so, but unfortunately for me I only have two bedrooms and it's currently taken up with cases and amp's. You know the story young single lad has own bacherlor pad full great of guitars, meets girl, falls in love, girlfriend moves in, then one day your hit with the question "why do you have so many guitars when you can only play one at once" and "wouldn't this make a great bedroom". You know the rest, roll up roll up Musicman collection for sale. With regards to been a Guitar Dealer, after the day I've had at work I kind of see the appeal.
How much for the HH4 and the traditional sunburst 4 please?
The 4HH is the 2006 model with 3 band active EQ and the 5 way toggle switch, this guitar is pristine and has hardly been played, I think it made it to a rehersal once. Given that these are retailing between £1200 -£1400, I would be happy to see it go for £825. The standard sunburst is a 2005 and is also in exceptional condition, although there is a tiny mark the size of a biro pen tip on the back near the bottom, this is only to the clear coat it does'nt make it throgh to the body. offers over £700 for this one. Both come with Hard shell cases. If you require more images let me know. Cheers
How about some pics of the backs of the 5s please? Cheers
More images of the 5's as requested. Both these guitars are in excellent condition and are kept in hard shell cases, there are no scratches, dings or dents to either of them. If you require any more info let me know. Cheers
Hi What years are the 5's? Cheers
After doing a bit of research with the serial numbers on a Musicman site, the Sunburst appears to be a 1998 and the Natural (which the pictures don't do justice as this Bass is the business) is a 2002. If you need any more pictures please let me know.
Any idea on how much for the 5'ers?
Given that they are are both in excellent condition, I was thinking offer's over £800 was a reasonable price, given what they retail for. If you want any addition pictures let me know. Cheers.

Hi, due to my current Bass collection getting very near 20 guitars, not to mention a Yamaha SBV800 I purchased on here earlier this week, I'm seriously running out of room, this has also been brought to my attention by the future Mrs Rickster. So now is as good a time as any to streamline my current collection. Given that I mostly seem to playing my Jazz's first to go is my Musicman collection. I have attached a couple of images of each, but if anyone is intrested in any of the guitars on offer please mail me for additional images. All 5 are in pristine condition and come with hard shell cases. Thanks
Given that these retail anywhere between £1200 -£1400 I was thinking of letting it go for just over the £800 mark, bearing in mind a single will can fetch over £800 on the bay, this has got to be a bargain for someone who's looking for one.
Bumped Still a great Bass, still a great price.
Very nice - what sort of price did you have in mind (a ray wasn't on my wanted list, but this could tempt me)
Given that these retail anywhere between £1200 -£1400 I was thinking of letting it go for just over the £800 mark, bearing in mind a single will can fetch over £800 on the bay, this has got to be a bargain for someone who's looking for one.
oh man this bass looks awesome!!! might have to consider selling one of my single H rays to get this!!!!
Thanks for the kind word's, it' look's the business and play's as good as it look's. I thought I may have a bit of interest when I offered it up for sale given what they retail for, but so far it's been pretty quiet.

New Jazz Pickups going cheap
Rickster replied to Rickster's topic in Accessories & Other Musically Related Items For Sale

Having a clear out and found a set of Jazz Pickups which came out of a fully loaded Fender Jazz body I bought from the Stratosphere on ebay. They have never been used as I switched them for a set of DiMarzio Ultra Jazz's. First one to offer me £10 plus £2 for postage has got themselves a bargain. Hi, I'm offering for sale a pristine 2006 Musicman Stingray 4 HH Bass with 3 band active EQ. Unsure of the colour I think it's either honyburst or sunburst but i think you'll agree it looks the business. I purchased this Bass about a month ago on a whim from the original owner who hardly played it, but I too have only played it once in a rehersal room, so it really needs an owner who will make the most of it. As you can see from the pictures it is in excellent condition with no scratches, dings or dents and has never been giged. It also comes with the original Musicman hardshell case which is also unmarked. Open to reasonable offers [att chment=3030:PA120111.JPG]
