1. Go for the yamaha in my opinion the best basses for your money i have a rbx270 and love it i use it to work out a new song i also have 2 warwicks 2 ibenez a aria a westone a fender precision usa a musicman a rickenbacker a voilin bass and a shxt load more and think the best bargain i have ever bought was my yamaha and will never part with it .I have never heard anyone say a bad word against them and there are some real clever bass players on this forum so listen to them and get that yamy.

 2. Got a nice warwick lefty for sale a warwick streamer jazzman ash colour new strings but needs a selecter switch cause i just broke it but they are cheap and easy to fit awsome sound as you would expect no pics yet but when i get a decent camera i will post the pics collection only from notts. £600 also got some cheap basses for sale lefties of course nice westone active old type i think they call them bass 1 its got a fitted case looking for £220. thanks for reading my ad.

 3. I know how you feel about amp and cab i was just the same always used a ampeg stack but 2 years ago i was using a ashdown combo for practice and hurt my back so like you i was looking at what to do and tried a markbass 2x10 combo and must say i have never wanted anything else and if we do really big gigs i get our drummer to help me carry my 1x15 markbass cab but must say 90% of the time my combo will do the job and i play in a rock band who only know one volume and that is loud. But like we always say try a few and see what you like yourself. Good luck with what ever you buy.

iv got a 924 ibenez left handed and its one of the best basses i have ever had when i took it to my local music shop to be set up he commented on how good they were he told me if i sold it being left handed i could expect to get £600-650 but right handed would probably get a bit less i would try it on this forum at 450 and am sure you would get it. Good luck with yous sale. And lefty thanks again for telling me about that ricky i bought cheers lads.

 10. Iv got a 2x10 and its a great combo a bit to heavey for me but the sound is ok well worth 190 iv used it for giiggin and no probs dont think youl get anything better for the price they fetch 250 + on ebay so you wont lose if you want to sell it.Only reason i dont use mine so much now is i bought a markbass which is much lighter but im a 5 foot weaklin .

 12. Hi Mike i have a 924 and love it its the only bass i can get every sound i want trouble is its a bit heavey but apart from that one of the best basses i have ever had and iv got a ricky a precision a musicman 2 warwicks 2 ibezez a yamaha and loads more if i get any problems with any of my basses i go to Musicscene mansfiedl a guy picks guitars up every tuesday and satday and does a fantastic job at a very cheap price the no is 01623 631174 it might be a long way to come but he really is good also another guy who repairs amps ect is a guy called dave ball 0115 9113964 both of these are first class , hope this helps.

 13. Hi must say i used to have Epis and must admit they were very good but the markbass to me is one of the best amps and cabs on the market and every time i here a good band they mostly use markbass as for my combo i never struggle with volume and thats playing in a rock band with guitarist using marshall stacks and only know one volume and that is max volume, but every bass player is different and we all have our own opinions so i say whatever your happy with just use it. Good luck to all you bass players whatever you use and keep on rocking.
