1. Great bass for a bargain price

Great bass, period!

I can't think why anyone would part with a thumb bass after knowing such joy, I'd never part with mine.

Good luck

2. Guitar Guitar in Corstorphine, Edinburgh has these. They look really good until viewed up close. The instrument was poorly finished and unbalanced, had the cheapo feeling, that was enough, I never found out what it sounded like.

Find out if there are any suppliers in your area and check one out for yourself before buying, definately..

3. Price dropped to £150

Boss GT6B. Excellent condition/ perfect working order.

Bought from a fellow basschater a few months back but I'm just not using it.

Costs around £20 to send by courier, or it can be picked up here in Edinburgh.

Cheers

Ed

taking the **ss more like :)

As others have suggested: Shim the neck - that's the only solution a luthier would perform.
Taking the **ss??!!!

No, I certainly wasn't, Jean-Luc. I'm merely suggesting an option.

It may be time consuming but it's not like modifying the saddles is going to bring on the ten plagues of Egypt, or is it? Perhaps filing deeper grooves into the saddles with a small round file would be better ... but hey, don't listen to me, I'm not a luthier

If I'm wrong offer me reason as opposed to arrogance please. I'm also here to learn.

5. Sunn Mustang (my first bass, I eventually cut it up)
Maison ?
De-ville fretless (I cut it up)
Ibanez Roadster
Washburn Force8 fretless
Fender Precision bass Lyte
Cheapo acoustic ?
Aria Pro II SB900 fretless (why did I let her go?!)
Warwick Dolphin pro II
Hohner ? acoustic
Ibanez SR1200
Epiphone El Capitan acoustic fretless
Warwick Streamer STD
Warwick Thumb NT (still have)
Jazz fretless (still have)

6. De-freting shouldn't significantly alter the value of a bass like that, so long as it's done properly.

Although it's worth bearing in mind that fretlesses are harder to sell, should you not take to it.

Try a few in the shops first, then decide.

7. If it wasn't for the weight I would definately go for a Thumb bass, it literally hugs your body.

Seeing as we're practicing for ten hours though I would choose a Fender p-bass lyte.

does what it says on the tin
