1.
Wasn't being sarcastic, just saying! Like i said, good luck! Si p.s. if anything, i'm keeping your post at the top lol
Well for that I thank you . I've been listening to some of your stuff on myspace dude - superb!!!. Are you off to Japan anytime soon? To be honest I'm no bass expert, but I write alot of dual keyboard parts that the bassist plays when we do them live and I guess it's easier played on two strings than one, but if a 5-string player can do that just as well I'm all up for that!!! Do you know of any in the Cambridge area? As I said dude - excellent stuff, loving the overall sound - where was it recorded? Jon
 2.
Wow, you must have a lot of bass melodies that go the 5 notes past a High G Si
Correct.... ha ha.... You know your stuff. Anyone out there who isn't gonna clog this thread with sarcastic comments?
 3. Unfortunately alot of the stuff we have written requires six-strings because of bass melodies and solo lines. I suppose we could try with a 5-string player but we'd have to change alot of our stuff. Thanks for the comment though.
If you're looking for a six-string player exclusively, i think you're narrowing your prospective field quite a lot! Good luck though! 4. Timefall are now in need of a new bass guitarist. Unfortunately, Dan has decided he would like to continue his musical studies at University and as a result this crucial position needs to be filled. It has been a great year for Timefall since we started gigging in Summer 2006. We have travelled all over the country bringing our music to venues from South London to Rotherham. Our diverse sets and original compositions have gained us fans from all areas of the musical spectrum. We have also just completed a summer of festivals with the highlight being a show at Bloodstock Festival in August. June 2007 saw the release of our debut album 'Into the Shadows' which was received with much acclaim. The record is now available to buy online and has been featured on many radio stations and polls. Samples of tracks from the album can be heard at www.myspace.com/timefall. We are a band that has London-based management and consequently we take our work very seriously. Our next concert is the Classic Rock Society Autumn RockFest, playing alongside progressive metal giants Threshold (a band who has toured with the likes of Dream Theater and Pain of Salvation). We also have studio time planned in order to record new material and a European Tour in the offing for early 2008. We are looking for a talented six-string player who is 110 percent committed, with excellent musical skill and experience, an innovative approach, and an ability to be truly original in the song-writing arena. The capacity to sing backing vocals is desirable also as we do a lot of work with harmonies. The position is not to be undertaken lightly and whoever assumes the role will need dedication and ambition. If you are interested in becoming part of Timefall please contact Jon on 07810127346/01638 552001 or Mike on 07969498531, you can also contact us via myspace or on [email protected]. We will need to hear demos of all prospective bassists, so get in touch and we'll give you the address to send the demo to. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to drop us a line. Looking forward to hearing from you all!!! Timefall
