  1. I've found necks usually bend most under 10-14th frets. If yours is bending most somewhere else, you might have a problem the truss rod can't fix. you can sort the intonation out by comparing the plucked harmonic to the fretted 12th fret note using a tuner. The closer they are to one another, the better the intonation.

  2. lol yeah, I liked Ren and Stimpy. I have a magic nose goblin collection under my office desk tooooo.

I'm also into Red Meat, any cartoons that are on the dark side of funny. When I can find a pic of Stinky, I'll change my avatar.

  3. Hello all, i was a member of bassworld and based in London but now work in Dubai in the construction industry. I joined a while ago I've been a bit busy so haven't posted much. I sold my Boogie Buster combo before I left so don't have an amp at the moment, Dubai doesn't have many musical instrument shops either so not sure what I'm going to do. Still have my Stingray 5 string though. There's a good expat music scene here with a few people from companies forming bands and doing hotel gigs. Things have to quieten down for Ramadan though so it'll be dead for the next 4 weeks out here.

Guess I'd better get back to work now. :)

  4. Stingray 5s have some nice bevelled edges! :) A lot of these older slabby body shapes were developed within the manufacturing limitations at the time. It takes some 3D scanning and a 3D CNC carving machine to whack out the curvy Warwick/Spector body shapes cost effectively.

    I love lamp.
