1. That is a very misleading advert, its (purposely?) not mentioning the key points of the bass, ie its had a new top AND a refin, not by Status.
The bidder probably thinks he/she is buying a minty factory custom, and as such is being indirectly misled.
You wouldn't put up an old P-Bass and say its in fantastic condition, then forget to mention its a refin.

If I won this thinking it was stock, then subsequently found out it was a recap/refin, I'd be very angry.

2. SOLD, thanks!

Good condition, hardly used.
Looking for £80 ono, pick up from London, or add some postage if elsewhere :)

SAMSONS BLURB:
The S com is a dual-channel, single rack space stereo compressor designed to control signal levels in a variety of applications. S com's logical design and layout make it simple to understand and easy to use. Its sonic integrity offers clean, distortion free audio, and a predictable, usable range of control from undetectable to clearly identifiable. Each channel combines an Expander/Gate, a Compressor/Limiter and a fully adjustable Enhancer. This unique circuit reduces noise, increases loudness and recovers high frequencies that might otherwise be compromised when audio is heavily compressed. The Spectra switch adds a mid-band boost to the detector circuit to help smooth out harsh vocals. The Expander/Gate features a variable Threshold control and switchable (fast/slow) Release time. The Gate's operation is easily visible with twin (open and closed) LEDs. The S com's Compressor/Limiter controls include Threshold, Ratio, Attack, Release, and Output. The Auto function continuously analyzes the audio input, and automatically adjusts the attack and release parameters based on the changing level. A Key input and Key Listen feature provides for external triggering, or EQ, of dynamically processed signals.

3. SOLD. Thanks

Good condition, a few marks as expected for a matt black finish. Only one dink on back (picture #6)
Plays very nicely.
Looking for 165 ono, possible swaps/px but prefer cash sale.
Bass is in London area, can meet South, West or Central if it helps.

4. SOLD. I got some ridiculous offers on here (50 quid etc), so it went to eBay and I took 115.
Thanks for all the genuine enquiries though!

Needs some love. Its all there except microswitch and one pot needs a nut and knob.
Body is very scuffed throughout, dinks and scratches all over the shop, and it needs cleaning and setting up.
Even with knackered strings on, it plays really really well, and after a setup, it will be stunning.
For sale as a quick/easy project for someone with more time than me.
Nice ones seem to be 200-ish, I'm looking for £110 plus postage, or pick up from London.

5. To be fair, it has 2 very nasty bashes on it, one on the bottom point near the controls thats down to wood. Photo link in original post leads to good closeups of the dinks.
I think I have priced it VERY fairly though. It plays really nicely despite the usual BCRich neck angle issues, and if I had more time, I would do the bridge rout mod and get it absolutely gnats-wing on the 12th fret :)
First offer of 220 takes it, it's not actually THAT metal, it has the metal shape, but the trans finish and curly maple just oozes class...

6. Unbranded Jazz Bass neck, rosewood board, never been on a bass.
36mm wide at the nut, butt is 63mm wide.
Undrilled, and finished in smooth satin laquer. It is as new except for a small chip on the back near the 12th fret on the bass side (so 95% of bassists would never feel it :) )
These are about 70 quid off ebay.
Looking for £45 posted due to the small chip.

8. Hi
I bought this about a year ago with the intention of heavily modifying it to match my other T-bird.
I then left the band I was in, and no longer wish to persue this build.
It is exactly as I bought it, sunburst Korean Epi T-Bird, amateurly resprayed in white including fingerboard.
It flakes off the frets/fingerboard fairly easily, so the fingerboard can be scraped back to rosewood with a little patience.
Comes with electrics installed, bridge, tuners and some screws, strap buttons, and modified strap to get round the neck joint.
Just needs pickups, guard and knob caps.
Asking £70, will consider swaps for pedals/EMGs etc.
West/Central/South London pickup available by arrangement.
Will post if needed.

9. SOLD, THANKS!

Hi all!
Bought this as a backup for my Thunderbirds, set it up, and never got round to using it after rapidly departing from said band!
The original sale thread is http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=86598
Bass has been played twice since then, and lived indoors.
I have reused one of the pictures from the original thread, hope Thom doesn't mind :)
Bass is in West London, but could be picked up from Central or South by arrangement.
Looking for £235 ono.
