  3. CrazyKiwi: what tells you it's an early one? I'm loving finding out about these amps in all the threads on here! :-)
  4. Also, just wanted to add that the backplate is only missing in the photos so I could check what valves were in there and to take photos. It has since been put back on. Cheers!
  5. Hi All, [I know this is primarily a guitar amp, but I thought I'd chance it here in case someone was interested!] My good friend is selling a couple guitar amps to pay for some work on his car. One of these is a lovely old Burman Pro 502. We don't know it's history except that he bought it from a guy he knew about 6 years ago and it he's barely used it since. In all fairness, he didn't know what a special amp he'd bought. It seems to be in full working order except the reverb doesn't work -- turning it up full just adds hiss. I've taken a good few pictures (sorry about the low quality -- it was low light and all I had was my phone camera) which should inform you to its cosmetic condition. If you need any other information, please give me a shout and I'll do what I can to ferret out the info. The amp is situated in Glasgow, UK but my friend is willing to ship to anywhere in Europe and N. America and will work with the buyer to ensure it's safe arrival and for a fair shipping price (cost only). The price is £400 ono. Please post here or PM me to discuss. Best Regards, Cade. 6. Do you have any idea how old the amp is? Also, how heavy it is? Ta!
  7. Hi! It's not clear — are the cabs still for sale? I'm interested, if they are.
  8. Hi all, I have a Line 6 power supply that came from my friend's DL4. Looking for a typical boss-style 9v daisy-chainable power supply. Let me know what you got! Cheers, Cade
  9. Thanks for the welcome, guys! The dark side, indeed! Actually, the fit feels better to me. Maybe I've come FROM the dark side! :-)
  10. Hi everyone! Just wanted to introduce myself. I've just made the upgrade from guitar to bass in the last few months, getting my first bass just a while back and loving playing and messing around. I was always more of a rhythmic guitar player, so the move to fat strings has felt pretty natural! :-) Looking forward to getting to know everyone here and discussing all the minute details of everything bass-related! Cade.
