Personally I gave up on this approach and made them all my self. I some times literally play over loops for hours. My advice: Youtube drum grooves and go to town =)

Well I have a boss LBM3 limiter enhancer and GEB7 Bass EQ which are not being put to good use so I thought I'd place them up here. I still have original boxes as they are only 2-3 months old from PMT Norwich.
Ideally I'd like a swap for an Aguiiar Tone Hammer preamp box/DI but I'm happy to take £40 each and half the postage between us

No offence taken. Up until 6 months ago i'd never even attempted to slap before so little titbits are always helpful =) I spose being a jazz bass man im used to the eons of space between neck and pup.

I've played a fair few bongos and I found them really difficult to slap on. The neck pup was just too close to the neck for me which is shame cus they really are great basses...

As much as I love this band the backwards strung 5/6 string kills it for me! Nothing worse than a catchy tune you cant play along too!

Would I still be able to get it with the free trial?

I could be wrong but I was told wattage means very little which is why some 100watt amps (e.g. Old Peavy) sound so loud. Its more about the transformer which increases how quickly the maximum wattage can be pushed out or something like that? Dont take my word for it though =L

This is just amazing...

I'm in the process of learning Victor Wootens arrangement of Amazing grace and have learnt most of it successfully apart from the harmonic chord section in the middle. Just wondering if you guys had any tips or tricks for these because I'm getting increasingly frustrated! To hit the harmonics correctly I keep pulling off the root note -.-

I once met a guy with a 2002 Am Jazz and he'd put Pbass pick up smack bang inbetween the two jazz ones. Sound amazing. looked horrible =L

Thanks for the comment, I'm glad other people like it as much as I do! I disagree with it not being a gigging amp though because I've used it comfortably at small venues as a 5 piece so I guess its how you want to sit in the mix really =D

Up for trade is my "little" Peavey Max 115 combo. Great rehearsal/small gig amp which I've owned from new for around a year now. Got a really nice grunt too it but is sitting unused next to my Ampeg so its got to go!
I'm mainly interested in 2x10 cabs (like an Ashdown) but I could be persuaded by a Fender rack tuner or a 4u rack head some cash my way.
Feel free to make me an offer with what ever you want!
I'm based half an hour from Norwich =)

Im year 12 at the moment and looking too. My favourite so far is goldsmiths because its small but not too small (8K students), well placed even it is expensive (Cheaper part of london), doesnt need the best grades just ABB.

In my personal experience its because my first bass was a crappy squire jazz. Now anything with out a jazz neck to me feels so alien so why change my playing style to suit another bass when one feels so right! =)

I was in exactly the same situation and tried all three and i suggest you do the same. Personally I found the Ampeg the best because of the EQ options. =)
