1. The reason i have been playing sax since i was 17 and gave up bass then was due to me hearing Mick Karn on my Japan albums all those years ago.Amazing bass player but when i heard him with the sax on there stuff i soon got 1.Very sad loss to the music world,a true 1 off stellar player,RIP ,going to listen to some Japan now.

  2.
Just a pointer - its secondhand in 'as new' condition - not Brand new.

You may be putting potential buyer off by listing it as such, and Only traders could list anything as 'New' on here. Traders have to be sponsors to be able to sell.

details I know but on here, the detail is everythign to some folks...
you have a good point. still for sale,£180.00 cash on collection.

You seen the pics on my thread when i was trying to sell this bongo and that was the best pics. Its a dark metalic orange, stunning in the flesh. As for £750.00 a good price i wish i had got close to that but hey ho.

ment=65504:100_2753.JPG]Well for those who asked heres some pics of my lush Bongo.I truly love it,amazing sounds and great to play.I bought the Ashdown 100 mini rig but when i got it home it was not working right so took it back and picked a Fender 150 Watt Rumble and thats some piece of kit i must say.Love the combo of the 2.

  7. Its the HH 4 string bongo in lava pearl finish.Wont receive it till sometime next week so time is dragging now.Like i have said i am a sax player of 25 years now but started playing bass at school in rock bands till 17 so just getting back to my 1st love which is bass.Alot of the preamp talk is all new to me so it helps alot to get me to grips more with the bass world.Today i orded a Ashdown 5 fifteen mini stack (100 watts) so next week will be great and cant wait to get going with this combo.I have had a soft spot for Musicman bass's since i was in my teens. They also look amazing and when i saw the bongo i knew i would end up with 1.I will send pics of my new set up as soon as i get my babys but cheers again guys for your wisdom and help.
Also your thoughts on which strings would suit the bongo for that funky, slap disco sound.
