    The reason i have been playing sax since i was 17 and gave up bass then was due to me hearing Mick Karn on my Japan albums all those years ago.Amazing bass player but when i heard him with the sax on there stuff i soon got 1.Very sad loss to the music world,a true 1 off stellar player,RIP ,going to listen to some Japan now.

    Fender Rumble 150 watt combo i got from Soundslive in Newcastle.Had it about a month,brand new and sounds amazing.My plans of getting back in to bass have died.Missing me sax to much.This has only been used the last month in the house so minty.Local pick up only,a bargain at £200.00. .

    Might be selling my Bongo 4 string to make way for a new sax as i am a sax player.Just got this baby but not had time to use it much so might down grade,sell or trade.Lava pearl finish,in fine condition,2 small chips,1 on headstock,1 on body.Plays superb,Asking £799.00,local pickup only or might be up for any nice trades or a trade for a pro alto sax,long shot but you never know.Based in the north east.

    Its the HH 4 string bongo in lava pearl finish.Wont receive it till sometime next week so time is dragging now.Like i have said i am a sax player of 25 years now but started playing bass at school in rock bands till 17 so just getting back to my 1st love which is bass.Alot of the preamp talk is all new to me so it helps alot to get me to grips more with the bass world.Today i orded a Ashdown 5 fifteen mini stack (100 watts) so next week will be great and cant wait to get going with this combo.I have had a soft spot for Musicman bass's since i was in my teens.They also look amazing and when i saw the bongo i knew i would end up with 1.I will send pics of my new set up as soon as i get my babys but cheers again guys for your wisdom and help. Also your thoughts on which strings would suit the bongo for that funky,slap disco sound.
