I read Keith Richards and Slash's bio's last year and I'm not sure I believed a word of either :-0
-
My current "favourite" is Pino, he's played just about every style out there and some of his fretless "pop music" work in the 80's is awesome.
-
That's nice

Free bump for a beautiful bass
-
Rush....if you're brave !!

I bought my TC Electronics rig off Mark last summer and he beat the best online offer I found anywhere, then got a gramma pad a month or so ago.
Good as gold both times, will deffo buy from him again. -

Just found this thread....great reading :-)
I've know H for yonks although hadn't seen him for 10 years or more until our recent little bass suarie up in Gateshead. He'd not aged a day....he's always been old!
As WoT said a load of times, he's old school and probably considers his pc as that horrible thing in the corner only to be looked at late at night ;-)
Ohhhhh...and divvint get too cutting with post 'cause I think he's a lawyer or something in real life :-0 -
-
I'm not surprised it did, it's very handsome
-
I've got the zebrano top version and love it, maybe even more than my "real" overwater...
-
That's beautiful
-
I think this used to be mine and I can testify that it is a great bass, plus Jack is a top chatter ;-).
Good luck with the sale -
I got to play this yesterday.......oh lordy what a tone..... tight as a gnats chuff!!
And in sparkling condition -
I had a little play of this yesterday and can whole heartily confirm that it's nowhere near as "odd" to play as you might fear.
And it sounds awesome !! -
I hope I get to fondle this beauty on Sunday ;-)
-
Good heavens, if that was a woman I'd propose ;-)
-
I've got a semi...:-0
-
Will you be bringing one along to the bass bash?
-
John you should open a shop!!
-
I've had a go of this bass and it's a dream to play, one of the thinnest and quickest necks I've seen on a Warwick and the photos don't do it justice, the wood is to die for.
Add to that Waveydavy is an all round top fella so buy with absolute confidence.
Someone is going to get a beauty here :-) -
I've got one of each and the "tanglewaters" are anything but low end.
-
"not one of the low-end Tanglewood basses......"
:-0 wow the people at overwater and tanglewood will be chuffed to bits with your rating :-0 -
This is beautiful, have a bump ;-)
