What is the profile of the neck like? Is it a chunky D or a slimmer C (if that makes any sense- all the warwicks I have ever touched (=2) had very deep, thick necks when measuring from the fretboard to where your thumb sits which don't really suit.)
-
I am always confused by the warwick range - is this one made in Germany or elsewhere? Does it come with a case?

This is a handy topic as I am learning Mama I`m coming home by Ozzy for a possible project and the verse sounds as if it`s played on a fretless. Not having a frettless, this topic hits the spot!!

Let's hope we get some answers then! -
Yes Bill on drums- LOL exactly what I thought.

I do that, kill treble, use chorus, and it just sounds like a fretted with chorus and no treble. The youtube clip sounds different, much more swell and soft tone.

Hi all,
Exactly four mins in on this vid: https://www.youtube....h?v=pFlMB9Mxt8M
the bass starts. I've actually only ever listed to this on a CD until today and was shocked to see the guy is actually playing a fretted bass - I was totally convinced it was fretless as it has great swell, no fret noise etc.
Is he using a d-esser or something? Flatwound stings? Magic Fingers? A graphic with the treble rolled right off? Any ideas as I love the sound and would quite like to emulate it.
Mine don't sound like that...

Where in France are you?

So what would sell the Pedulla for on it's own assuming that, like most people, I would not want to buy 2 basses!
-
They are usually phelonic which is basically araldite.

Like a black cat, in a dark coal cellar, at night.

You could probably play a bass through it...
