Hello all, I'm a guitar player of 20+ years, but fill in on bass for my brother's band when he's unavailable. Anyway, this has been happening more frequently and I thought I'd better get some of my own gear rather than borrowing his, and every time I've researched a particular instrument, I seem to land on this site. I have a dozen or so guitars in my collection and the wife's banned me from more, but I've told her I [i]need[/i] a bass, so this has been OK'd! Problem is, every time I look through the "basses for sale" section here, my mind changes. Anyway, I've picked up some great info here from lurking this past week, so hopefully I'll be able to contribute soon. Cheers!
