Hi there Strange Fashion` are a five piece `classic rock` band, with regular gigs (with re-bookings) in and around the south east London / Kent / Croydon areas, looking for a bass player, ideally with backing vocals though this is not essential. Basically we do this for the love of playing live, We do get paid, but at present we are just short of being semi-professional. The payment for gigs is varied, there is no minimum payment if we think the `cause is just`. Our regular gigs pay from about £200, we would like to step this up, hence the advertisement. Just to reiterate, We can`t offer a great deal of payment at the moment, but we would like to be semi-professional as soon as possible. I have my own rehearsal facilities, which are available all the time I'm around. Having an `image` (what ever that is) is important. We do aim to put on a visual show, so `dressing-up` is something I feel is important. Whatever you like to wear, what ever your personal taste is fine. Please be an easy to get on with, decent musician, with pride in personal performance and presentation. With that in the armoury we will be earning bigger bucks and kicking ass before you know it...lol The material that we play has to be out of the top drawer ! because every cover we do is taking the place of some great songs that we have written ourselves ( we do slip a few originals in, where we play regularly).
