  1. I bought one of these yesterday, Needless to say I'm absolutely in love with it. The Jaguar shape is perfect, seems like the 'missing link' I've been searching for with a guitar! Really cannot wait to turn up the volume and let it shine at band practise today
  2. I've been wanting to try one of these since they were first announced, I've never been a fan of the shell pickguards but it just seems to work on these. How would you say it compares to the VM jazz? Obviously I haven't tried the jag yet but at the moment my next bass is a toss up between the jazz and the jaguar, just wondering what your opinions are!
  3. Cheers for the help so far guys, I'll definately check out the for sale section when I get chance! I never intended to buy behringer as I hated the thing I was borrowing, but it did the job for the time!
  4. OK so my bands are starting to pick up some gigs and I can't carry on forever borrowing amps from people I know so I'm looking for my first 'proper' bass amp, however at a push I don't really want to spend more than £400 at this moment in time. Basically its only small pub gigs and in the past I've just used a Behringer (I know...) 180w combo thats then been DI'd, preferably I'd like something other than behringer and as big as possible for my budget. I'm still new to this bass thing so any help would be appreciated!
  5. Hello everyone! the name's Rhodri, After playing guitar for 5/6ish years I bought a bass off my mate for £10 (It probably isn't worth anything more...) and we started a band. After soon discovering I prefer playing bass to guitar I now play bass full time in my other band too so it may well be the best £10 I've spent! Just playing a basic bass from a company called Spider who no matter how hard I try I cannot find any info on although should be upgrading soon! Through a simple 20w practise amp which also needs upgrading... Check out some links to my bands below and once again, Hello! www.facebook.com/thebigscary - we like to call it 'glam pop' and just have a laugh www.myspace.com/ofthenightuk - rock/alternative 4 piece
