1. BILL FITZMAURICE BASS CAB £120 - PRICE DROP

Excellent condition, and great tone from the pair of Eminence Beta 10A speakers. Bill Fitzmaurice cabinets are kits which provide quality not normally found with proprietary cabinets. This one has been build and used, though not much, and is in superb order.

Priced to sell! Can be collected from Rugby, or I'll deliver within a 10 mile radius of Rugby. If you want to organise your own courier to collect, I will ensure it is packed ready for collection.

  2.
How much to post to CW9 6EB ? Northwich Cheshire
Is the replacement speaker the same make, wattage Ohms etc?
And is this cab made in England or China (Should say on the backplate)
    Cheers :)
Hi - yes replacement speaker is exactly the same, from Ashdown, and is black (not blue)

And it's made in England as well

Postage is aprox £23 from APC Couriers who are very good I've found

Let me know what you think as I've had some other interes and an offer which is not quite where I want it to be

    Thanks

    Terry

    Bolt type on Rick Page
That looks interesting, do you use these? Is this like a traditional strap lok which fixes through the guitar strap?

    Thanks

  4.
I use the DiMarzios... Seems to offer the best flexibility - only downside is that you have to use their straps....
cheerss Mark - That does look like the best option as the screws on other ones may well be too small and I don't really want to plug the holes and rescrew

  5.
Depends on the strap.
I had a Mono strap that had really tough leather ends. I had to widen the holes with a file to get the lock through. Most of my basses have soft leather straps and the locks just push through, with a bit of force.
Thanks for that - I've found a lot on YouTube which is usefull too

  6.
Never owned a Ric but, I've used Schaller, Dunlops and the DiMarzio locking strap (where you screw a bit of the strap to the body, rather than having a strap button).

For me the Dunlop straplocks are the best ones. I've had Schaller straplocks wear through the strap button part before as it's just metal on metal. The Dunlops have little ball bearings to ease friction.
Cheers, thanks for the info

I can't figure out how to attach these to a strap, do they just fit through the existing hole in the strap?

    Many thanks

    Terry

  7.
Hello
Bit of a long shot type punt, but don't suppose you're wanting either a 2003 USA P bass (mint nick, light blue body, Rosewood f/:) or an Orange Tiny Terror 500 watt bass amp as a trade do you, I only want the 1 x 15, (but could be persuaded if I try the 4 x 8 and get GAS ;-), so a bit of cash would have to come my way as well. I come down to Coventry every now and then, so transport isn't an issue, let me know either way, if no, then good luck with the sale

Hi Rich - Thanks for the offer but I have to say no - I have another rig and I really just want to sell this one on to a good home! Terry
