1. BILL FITZMAURICE BASS CAB £120 - PRICE DROP Excellent condition, and great tone from the pair of Eminence Beta 10A speakers. Bill Fitzmaurice cabinets are kits which provide quality not normally found with proprietary cabinets. This one has been build and used, though not much, and is in superb order. Priced to sell! Can be collected from Rugby, or I'll deliver within a 10 mile radius of Rugby. If you want to organise your own courier to collect, I will ensure it is packed ready for collection.
 2.
Are you sure the depth measurement is right? They are normally deeper than 335mm.
Yes it is 335 deep - it's the mini version and gives a great sound Regards Terry
 3.
How much to post to CW9 6EB ? Northwich Cheshire Is the replacement speaker the same make, wattage Ohms etc? And is this cab made in England or China (Should say on the backplate) Cheers
Hi - yes replacement speaker is exactly the same, from Ashdown, and is black (not blue) And it's made in England as well Postage is aprox £23 from APC Couriers who are very good I've found Let me know what you think as I've had some other interes and an offer which is not quite where I want it to be Thanks Terry
 4.
I play a Ricky 4003 and use Schallers. No problems ever Andy
Hi Andy - Were the holes the correct size or did you need to replug them? Thanks
 5.
I'll check them out - many thanks
Hi there seems to be thoughts (below) that the screws on these are too small for the existing hole in the Ric's body and it needs plugging - did you find that with your 4003?
 6.
http://www.rickenbacker.com/cart.asp?viewi...y=Miscellaneous Bolt type on Rick Page
That looks interesting, do you use these? Is this like a traditional strap lok which fixes through the guitar strap? Thanks
 7.
The DiMarzio locking strap could be worth a look as you can use the orginal screws.
Cheers for that - this does seem the best option
 8.
I use the DiMarzios... Seems to offer the best flexibility - only downside is that you have to use their straps....
cheerss Mark - That does look like the best option as the screws on other ones may well be too small and I don't really want to plug the holes and rescrew
 9.
I play a Ricky 4003 and use Schallers. No problems ever Andy
I'll check them out - many thanks
 10.
Depends on the strap. I had a Mono strap that had really tough leather ends. I had to widen the holes with a file to get the lock through. Most of my basses have soft leather straps and the locks just push through, with a bit of force.
Thanks for that - I've found a lot on YouTube which is usefull too
 11.
Never owned a Ric but, I've used Schaller, Dunlops and the DiMarzio locking strap (where you screw a bit of the strap to the body, rather than having a strap button). For me the Dunlop straplocks are the best ones. I've had Schaller straplocks wear through the strap button part before as it's just metal on metal. The Dunlops have little ball bearings to ease friction.
Cheers, thanks for the info I can't figure out how to attach these to a strap, do they just fit through the existing hole in the strap? Many thanks Terry
 12. Hi - Does anyone have any reccomendations for a good strap lock for my Rickenbaker 4003 - there's lots of different types out there and I don't know what to go for! Many thanks
 13. The 4 x 8 is now SOLD - I still have the 1 x 15 which is a great cab
 14.
Wasn't going to say anything Terry, my Orange is up for sale so I can discuss a deal with yourself. If they have gone before my Orange, doubt you'll be gutted . Cheers, Karl.
Good luck with your sale!
 15.
Hey, does the 4x8 stack onto the 15 a little neater if the 15 is stood vertical??
Yes the 1 x 15 can stand vertical and is exactly the same width as the 4 x 8 like that, I just prefer it with the 1 x 15 sideways, its just a matter of choice
 16.
I've just checked and they ARE both 8 ohm - Sorry to confuse! Terry
Hi Karl - these are still available are you interested in having a chat? Regards Terry

 18.
Have a bump. I would have had a long chat with you if they had both been 8 ohms. Good luck, Karl.
I've just checked and they ARE both 8 ohm - Sorry to confuse! Terry
 19.
When you say that your courier is 'reasonable', how much roughly would it be to ship just one? Specifically interested in the 115
Hi - that depends on where you are! Can I have your postcode and I will find out for you
 20.
I had some earlier Ashdown ABM cabs with half wings. Newer ones are full central wings. The 4by8 I had was immense. Good luck with the sale.
Cheers - thanks for that, appreciate the comment - yes it's a great cab!
 21.
Hello Bit of a long shot type punt, but don't suppose you're wanting either a 2003 USA P bass (mint nick, light blue body, Rosewood f/ or an Orange Tiny Terror 500 watt bass amp as a trade do you, I only want the 1 x 15, (but could be persuaded if I try the 4 x 8 and get GAS ;-), so a bit of cash would have to come my way as well. I come down to Coventry every now and then, so transport isn't an issue, let me know either way, if no, then good luck with the sale Rich
Hi Rich - Thanks for the offer but I have to say no - I have another rig and I really just want to sell this one on to a good home! Terry
 22.
Probably shouldn't, but potentially interested in the 4x8...
If you are seriously interested I'm looking for about £150 each.......interested?
 23.
How much would the 115 be on its own?
I hadn't thought too much about that to be honest, but as I'm looking for £300 for the pair then £150 each would be reasonable I think - is that in your ballpark?
