Ah, sweet.
(bass is quite nice too)
Welcome the forum. Nice chaps and gals all round IME.
Check out my stage ii. What you after tradewise? -
What was I thinking £1450 for my Elrick????? I need to keep it and pet it and polish it and one day I may even play it (properly)
Oh the Stage ii is still up for grabs.
Sorry if you were seeking the ultimate bass guitar, it mine. -

Bump. Need to decide by weekend if I sell or keep and pimp it.
Quite tempting to get s/h body and break out the spanners... if only I was my own boss -
Yurp. Sold my fretless last year and miss it badly - balance, tone, shape, playability.
Go for it my friends bite a mit -
Aquired this a few months ago out of curiosity. Certainly plays well and is a decent take on the Fender Precision. Very nice straight maple neck, Hardwood body, interesting headstock and tuners. Must sort my basses (and bank manager) out this year.
Either a future classic (if you're into Japcrap) or a lovely set of parts for you project guys...
Either way thought I'd ask BC chaps first before launching back to Evilbay.
Happy to post etc
£140 or there abouts. -
Thanks y'all for your patience. We had sun and a spare 5 minutes.... so here are some pics.
Any thoughts? or better still Cash?? -
Apologies, been one soggy busy day - all my plans for photos and getting organized (ha) gone phut !
I do have the serial no tho: F 048804 98.
That would make it a 1998 baby
Wouldnt be at all surprised if it belonged to one of our esteemed BC forumists.
It has a small dent (?) above the neck pickup that looks suspiciously thumb shaped. Wood and metal in excellent order and has never let me down.
I love rubbing wax into the wood ( ) and watching the colour of the woods come through.
Do remember soldering back a loose battery or jack wire when it arrived from E(vil)bay a few years back but nothing ever since. Amazing tone and sustain as expected, probably making a big mistake selling it - but I gotta keep the peace in my house after the EUB arrived...
? pics tomorrow? -
Nice Bass Amigo
and there's nowt wrong with your English, so much better than my.
Good luck -

Sorry to all its taken so long to work out forum etiquette - so very rude of me (Humble apologies
This is me, a recidivist bass-addict from sunny south Wales not far from CPBassman(or Voodosnake as he now is). Sax player since knee-high and sometime guitarist in a long deceased punk band called Munce (dont even go there). Caught the low end vibe about 8 yrs ago and its got me, man its really got me. Sold my sax for an axe and have been learning ever since. I'm inspired by BB King who was asked in his 80's how long he's played guitar. He replied "I've been practicing for over 60 years now". What a guy.
Main tools are: my ears, my fingers and Warwick basses (plus an out-of-my-league Elrick5). Just aquired form SamKeen a NS EUB which haunts my waking hours with its sustain. I go through periods of practice then gigging then repairing/fixing stuff but not necessarily in that order.
Thanks for having me join your forum, I am enjoying the banter very much and meeting fellow musicians either online or face to face.
Apart from that I'm really shy and only go outside on the full moon, oh and I'm a person of colour in that I'm half red half white in my skin which means I dont need no tattoos.
Keep it up chaps, I've even bought a BC teeshirt - yes I have. -
Sounds like you're having a right old time - if I had the readies I'd be knocking on ur door m8
least I can do is a bump -
Hi, Do you have any plans to visit the Uk?
This looks like what I'm after but Im unfamiliar with the make.
If you're interested in trades try

All the best -
Added my Warwick Streamer into the mix AND opened up for trades.
Really dont want to EvilBay these axes but might come that yet. -
Having fooled around with mostly 15's but also one 18 these post make sense- especially the earwax. I've never needed cotton buds since that Zep concert. Might be worth doing some research on the guy who used to make Jaco's speakers (18's I believe) a Steve Rabe. He wanted to prove to a highly sceptical and conservative load of bass players (shurely not!!) the there was a better way to make a low end.
