I am just doing the very same thing. So far I have a
mxr octavier- love it
Sans amp vt bass- love love love it
Bass balls - it's ok but I'm going to order an mxr envelope filter
Boss geb7 eq- I use it as a clean boost with a mid scoop for slap.

Don't really know what else to add ! But I'm having fun with this lot so far !

Do you still have the bass balls ?

I just saw the photos on the web. The one here made it look very dark which was turning me a bit against this bass. But the other pictures show it in much better light. I am very interested in it now. I will send you a pm.

Here is my ABII i have benn gigging it for about 2 years now. The x top is a burled spalted maple finish. Fantastic bass but i am looking for a dingwall Z3 or a lakland 55-94 delux. There is one mark on the bottom of the bass shown in the pictures but cant be seen while playing etc.
Only trades i would like are for lakland 55-94 or another dingwall Z2,Z3 or sklar
