1. Hi Mate, Have you got any other specs for this or a link to where I can have a nosey at this specific mode - quite interested, the serial number too if poss! Cheers!
2. Thinking of re-valving? Get these buitifull valves, selling due to not using the amp any more. Sound amazing allow a much clearer deeper low end. Beautifull valves all off the highest quality as expected from watford valves. Make me an offer!
3. See link for details, These have not been used more than once so are as new - will be happy to shift for £200 + Shipping as you can see below they are £302 normally + postage costs - I don't expect postage costs to be more than £15 if that! This set will suit the player who wants to get a nice clean and well balanced sound and this will suit the majority of Ampeg owners. The Harma ECC83 STR is a very well balanced with nice even bass which has plenty of depth. The mid range is very transparent which when changing pickup selection or using different basses gives a nice tonal variation that was lost in some other valves. The treble has nice punch which can sound clanky if required when used in conjunction with the extensive tonal shaping of the SVT 2 pro. The Philips Jan Military Specification ECC82/6189W was made with the highest grade materials and with no compromise on selection or quality control as they were for the American Government. These valves have a number of unique features such as high grade filament isolation so even after long periods of use the filament will not degrade. Immune to shock and vibration and were also rated for long life. The 6189W has a very clear bass response, which is both tight and musical. The sound is well balanced and good even detail across the audio spectrum with a clear and smooth treble. The sound and build quality is not equaled by any modern day valve. That is why it is used in this kit The Svetlana 6550C has a rich warm transparent sound and supreme reliability. The valve features a unique tri plate anode and gold wound grids to help heat transfer. It has an extra thick glass casing to prevent microphonics. Most industry people agree that this is the best sounding current production 6550 which is why this has become the industry standard 6550 used in high powered bass amplifiers. This is certainly the best sounding 6550 that I have found in the Ampeg SVT in both original and PCB units in over many years of use. This valve kit is best suited to bass player that wants a cleaner punchier sound with more versatility to shape the Ampegs tone The kit consists of 6 valves 5 Specially selected Harma ECC83-STR 3 Specially selected Philips JAN ECC82/6189W 6 Specially selected Svetlana 6550C in a matched sextet
4. Still available for this absolute beast of an amp, open to the possibility of trades!
5. Hi, Brand new and boxed item - used once, does not compare to the Sans AMP programmable bass driver I have IMO, Message for details - should be really cheap to post! No point in posting pictures as it is absolutely brand new and been taken out of the box once and used on a carpeted floor. It is immaculate and people rave about these pedals - not for me though! 6. DO YOU STILL HAVE ANY OF THESE AMPS, MAINLY THE MARSHALL OR THE HIWATT. ALSO, BUY MY SVT.
7. An rb my good man! tried the rb700 mark 2 and was pretty impressed with the ammount of bass i got out of it, it would probably suit my cabs better than the ampeg too!
8. It is the amp that put me off all other amps! The sound quality is incredible and with the eq it's incredibly flexible to boot. Amazingly loud too, never a bad thing!
9. Had a few bites on this now, one offer for asking price though while i await the buyer to be in funds this is still open to sale by mutual agreement. Had a few other bites too, so if your interested hit me up! All offers considered, possibly open to trade for the right rig. Looking for a GK! Thanks for looking guys!
10. Hi Rich, Thanks for the info! I did upload a pic - not sure where this has gone - though here it is again, with this light the number does look like 8 but it is in fact 6 - will get a better pic when I'm next in the room. Looking for a £850.00 or nearest serious offer - this is a serious piece of kit - Happy to post out and I'd possibly be happy to foot half of this costs depending on the postage costs as this is a big heavy valve amp. I will also throw in my 10u rack case and the fan unit if the buyer is interested in them at no extra charge - they won't be any use to me once it's gone!
