the tone of this bass in general is fantastic, especially for metalheads like myself the traben's unique tribal designs are actually part of the bridge and traben claim in gives the bass a much deeper tone and to be honest it does. This is my poison I love Trabens. Unfortunatly this is the only one i own but hey it does the job and is a fantastic bass
