  1. Sorry to hijack the thread but didnt want to start another. Has anyone any experience of the delano xtenders used in the custom model? Cant decide between a ken taylor or custom 5er. If anyone can shed light on how the xtenders perform vs the double bucks in terms of the low end/bass it would be great.

  2. Having just got a Genz Benz ShuttleMax 12.0 its time to move on my RH450 (rebelhead branded model).

I bought this of here about a year ago. Its in excellent condition, the memory 2 and 3 buttons have the hairline cracks that are a common fault with these amps. Both buttons are fully functional with no problems, the cracks were there when I bought the amp and I've never had a problem with them.

The amp comes with the TC electronics gigbag. The gigbag is good overall condition with a small paint stain on the top.

I'm based in Belfast, so price includes fully insured shipping to mainland UK.

    Looking for £380 shipped.

  3. Have my rh450 hooked up to a Hartke 1x18 and Trace 2103h (running it @ 2.67) ohms. Bass and trebled are boosted and mids are flat to slightly rolled off. The sound out this set up is huge. Massive bottom end with my Warwick 5 double buck. Volume is ridiculous.

It does take time to get desired settings and I do often keep fiddling with the eq during practice but that is why the presets are so handy.

  4. I picked up a rebelhead450 of here last year. I love it. I run it through a trace compact 1x15 and trace 2x10 (200 watt model) plus trace tweeter box and it is plenty loud for my purposes. Able to drown out drummer and guitarist no problem. Love the range of sounds you can get out of it as well. The tube tone mixed with mid settings seems to really ramp up the volume.

  5. I've have/had two of the F series. The F-255 and the F-404. The F-255 I have since moved on as I found it a tad on the heavy side but really regret getting rid of it. I still have the F-404 which I adore. It came with EMG DC active pickups and EMG B64 active EQ which I have upgraded to the BQS system. The general sound and variety of sounds from the 404 is amazing. Both basses were solidly put together and I would highly recommend them to anyone. I'm currently considering getting the F-5e or the new DK-5 signature model.

Out of interest can anyone shed light on how the stock 'ESP' pickups sound?

  6. Have shipped basses in the past to Denmark and Estonia (sold through ebay). As said, don't ship until you have the money. I used parcelflight / DPD on both occasions and shipping was very reasonable, fully insured and the items arrived same and sound after 5 days or so.
