1. Hi, ...and I found you lot instead! still not quite sure how, though there was a guy having trouble sussing out his Frontline Delay pedal. Mines crook and was hoping to get it repaired,; alas the guy in the repair shop can't find spares! N'mind back to that orrible new thing I bought, ughh! Based in Dover and regard myself as a chonker on both guitar and piano. If I can't play it I whistle it. Try to play almost anything providing it goes 'up and down'. Have backing tracks to play Shadows stuff, love Beatles, Buddy, Elvis etc etc right through to modern day. Have a small music room in which I cram my gear: Fender Strat + Carlsbro Super Stingray for me Shads stuff, Hofner Committee + Stingray for me Berrys and Squire Telecaster + White Marshall 10w for a nice Beatles sound. Also have a Technics all singing dancing piano, a drum kit and a PA I picked up at auction made by a Maidstone company for a guy called Del Bates. Unfortunately I can't try it out cos I don't have any speakers. Also recently acquired a 150w Laney keyboard amp that needs a good try out. Did a bit of gigging way back, but these days just do it for pleasure with my little woman who warbles a bit. Have to say though, the idea of getting back on the gig circuit does have its appeal. Any old Rockers out there? I have a Frontline stereo digital delay pedal if anyone knows where I could acquire spares. Perhaps I should move on? All the best, Jeff
 2.
I've just got a frontline digital delay from ebay and I'm having trouble figuring it out. I've attatched a pic. It's got knobs for repeats and delay level, then it's got 2 switches, the top one sets the delay range (0.6s/OFF/1.2s), the other one I'm not sure about. The delay time is set with the 2 red buttons on the bottom, you have to hold them down for quite a bit before they do anything. So, I can get it to work as a normal delay, but I don't know what the bottom switch does. It has 3 settings, OFF/HOLD/SMPL. OFF is for normal delay, the other 2 don't seem to do anything when selected, the light doesn't come on when I hit the footswitch, nothing. Anyone got any insight as to what these other modes do? It seems to be a generic jap design, there's very similar pedals under the brand name CORON as well...
I'VE GOT ONE OF THESE THAT ALAS NO LONGER WORKS. JUST TRIED TO GET IT REPAIRED BUT GEEZER UNABLE TO GET SPARE PART!! SHAME BECAUSE THE SOUND KNOCKS SPOTS OFF MY RECENTLY PURCHASED MULTI UNIT! IF ANYONE READS THIS AND KNOWS WHERE SPARES CAN BE OBTAINED I'D BE VERY GRATEFUL - I HAVE A CIRCUIT DIAGRAM BY THE WAY. RE ABOVE QUERY, I ALSO SCRATCHED MY HEAD AND HAD A TWIDDLE AND I NEVER DID FATHOM IT OUT, BUT IT DID ALL I WANTED.
