1. Nice bass, shame no trade http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=99411
Regards
Pete
With much regret, it is time to sell my Fender CIJ 62 Reissue Precision Bass.

I bought this back in October 2009 from Basschat member Simon (Oldgit) - I think it is a 1993-94 model from the Guitar Dater Project website.

I wasn't happy with the light basswood body so I replaced it with a Fender USA 62 Reissue 2008 alder body which although slightly heavier, added a certain clarity to notes. The body is as new & unmarked except for a small dimple near the front horn strap button as highlighted in last pic below.

Fender USA 62 Reissue 2008 alder body

Badass II bridge

Nordstrand NP4 Pickup

Hipshot D-Tuner

CTS solid shaft pots, Switchcraft jack socket and Sprague Orange Drop .047mf capacitor.

Gotoh vintage reverse wind machine heads

Original Fender chunky 3 ply Tortoiseshell Pickguard

Pickup and control cavity screened with copper tape and vintage braided cable used.

Weight: 9lbs 6oz

I added the new Fender pickguard as I wasn't that keen on the original pinky coloured thin version. Whilst doing this I also screened the pickup and control cavity with copper shielding tape. Straplocks fitted and strap fittings included in sale.

So probably well over £500 of refinements made!

More information and lots of pics HERE

Bass plays and sounds great just as it should, very growly and typical thick fat Precision woody tones. Medium action and the neck is beautifully comfortable with a nice dark rosewood fretboard.

Small amount of mojo on the headstock. The laquer cracked slightly when fitting the D-Tuner as shown in the second to last pic.

Will come with with brand new Elite Bass strings 45-105 and gig bag plus the remaining spare Gotoh machine head for the E string.

I am based near Horsham, West Sussex which is about 25 minutes away from Gatwick Airport.

Looking for £475.00 plus £25.00 shipping within Mainland UK.

No Trades.
2. Hi bud,
I am interested in the amp/cab, they still for sale and whats your best price for cash on pickup?

Whole unit was purchased 10 years ago. Clean with only a couple of minor superficial marks it is in great working order for an amp of its age – was used at a gig recently and worked beautifully. The only reason I am selling it is because it no longer suits my needs.

Speaker and Power Lead are brand new.

Pictures available upon request (They won't load for this advert!)

£250.00 for the whole unit.

3. Require Amp/Cab or Combo

I am reluctantly trading my Schecter Hellraiser 4 NT.

http://s188.photobucket.com/albums/z175/EnemyBass/Schecter/

It is a solid mahogany body through neck with a quilted maple top and mother of pearl binding finished in a translucent candy red
It has been upgraded with an Aguilar OBP 3 preamp in a bass/treb stack and mid with push pull for different hz and a switch to go fully passive and has been fully sheilded, it is dead silent even with treble boosted.

It is an awesome bass and really does have a gorgeous tone.

The pre can be used in 9v or 18v mode in 18v it really spanks hard, which I guess could be down to the solid mahogany body and dual coils

This is a very versatile and great sounding powerfull bass

It has also had a Warwick Just a nut II fitted which lets you adjust the nut height aswell as Warwick Strap locks

It has been has been gigged, recorded, etc so it does have the odd mark but nothing too serious
its currently fitted with 2 month old DR Hi-Beams and was fully set up when they were fitted.

These basses are currently £750+ and with the preamp, locks and nut, it's a good £950 instrument.

The Bass also includes the original Schecter Fitted case.

SCHECTER HELLRAISER 4 BASS GUITAR FEATURES

* BODY: Mahogany w/ Figured Maple
* NECK/FINGERBOARD: Multi-Laminate Maple & Walnut / Rosewood
* FRETS: 24 Jumbo
* INLAYS: Black Pearl 'Gothic Cross'
* PICKUPS: EMG passives
* ELECTRONICS: Vol/Blend/ Active 9/18-Volt 3-band EQ (Aguilar OBP 3 preamp) UPGRADED !!!
* BRIDGE: Schecter Custom String Thru Body (or Top Load)
* BINDING: Abalone
* TUNERS: Schecter
* HARDWARE: Black Chrome

Willing to look at most Bass Amps/Cabs or combo's that are a fair trade for this stunning bass.

5. I have for trade a Warwick Corvette Double Buck Bass in Nirvana Black with gold hardware.

Currently has elixir strings approx. 1 month old on it (45-105) and is in full working order.

Really is a great guitar but looking for a change.

The bumph

• Bolt-on
• 4-string
• US Swamp Ash body
• Ovangkol neck
• Wenge fingerboard
• Scale length: 34 inch (long scale)
• 24 frets
• Passive MEC MM-Style humbuckers with open pole pieces and coil-switching for each pickup: serial, parallel and as single coil
• Active MEC 2-way electronics
• Finish: Nirvana Black
• Warwick tuners
• 2-piece Warwick bridge
• Warwick security locks
• Gold hardware
• Just-A-Nut III
• Weight approx. 3,9 kg
• Including Warwick 'User Kit'
• Made in germany.

The previous owner changed/upgraded the hardware (Warwick) to gold. This does set this bass apart from the all black ones that are out there.

The Guitar is in top notch condition (Photo's dont do it justice), there is a thumb print mark just above Bridge pickup where the thumb has been resting whilst playing, this is not noticable unless you inspect really closely and a few minor marks on the back the bass with playing.

The bass has the folder with it (Bits&bobs, tools) and also a strong well padded gig bag that came with it (Warwick Rockbag).

I am looking to TRADE for a Fender Geddy or US Jazz or MIJ P/J Bass.

Prefer pickup (Can Meet up also) rather than post!!!!!

6. The guy has told me they were black originally.. this is true as the factory label shows it as black.. all the hardware has been changed to gold at a cost or £140.00 he has said.. the photo's are poor quality as taken with a mobile. I could just about make out a 'W' faintly (not bold like they normally are on the black tuners) in the photo, dont want to buy a dud.. thats my concern.. £500 is the asking price, comes with tool kit and gigbag.. I have seen the photo's from the guy he bought it off..
