Reforming heavy rock trio is looking for a new drummer who plays to a high standard. Think Motörhead, Angel Witch, Savoy Brown, Tank, Grand Funk Railroad, Manilla Road, Dust, Mountain and yet none of them. We are a guitarist/vocalist and bassist, both very experienced. Hi, We are a singer, guitarist and drummer looking to start a covers band to play pubs, parties etc. The idea is to start rehearsing asap and book as many PAID GIGS as possible on a regular basis. We are all experienced musicians (aiming 4-5 new songs per rehearsal) on our 30s+ and have a rehearsal space near Finchley Central with gear and recording facilities. Rehearsals could be anytime 24/7. Setwise we're aiming rock/pop, including songs from White Stripes, Rolling Stones, T-Rex, Who, Sex Pistols, Kings of Leon, Muse, Jimi Hendrix, old and new stuff, you get the picture. We are expecting to find someone really willing to do this and get the band active; nevermind if you keep another project of original music on the side, as long as we work professionally to meet all expectations. We had only 2 bassists, lasting no much more than 1 month each, in the last 9 months. Plus a few other people showed interest at the beginning but never went beyond email.
