    for sale is my ashdown rig ASHDOWN MAG C115-300 300w combo and ASHDOWN ABM MINI 48 4X8" extension cab rated at 600w both come with genuine ashdown covers. i have added castor wheels to the cab and the combo sits perfectly on top. This rig is gig worthy with plenty of headroom. please visit the ashdown website for all the stats/specs I'm located near oxford pickup would be required as this is to heavy to post!! I'm now looking for around the £400 mark but serious offers would be considered. I will also split - looking for £200 each I have used this for both live and rehearsals and it has never let me down. i'm only selling because i have upgraded to and ampeg stack. you can see it in the attached photo!     I have an ashdown mag300 1X15 combo with an abm mini 4X8 extension. I have noticed recently that the input gauge light/illumination dims when receiving signal. is this normal? also is the amp solid state or valved, how can you tell? as its a combo i cant get inside to look. also if its not valved whats the point of the input dial with its red section? any advice please thanks jim

    help please. I have an ashdown Mag 300 15" combo and ABM mini 4x8" extension cab rig and I'm looking for the best amp setup suggestions. I play a thunderbird bass through it with the tone set to low. I am looking to get a rich deep bass sound with plenty of rumble with out the sound getting to "wooly" as the sound engineer called it at our gig on saturday night! any help would be much appreciated. input = ? o'clock low bass = ? o'clock Bass = ? o'clock Mid = ? o'clock high mid = ? o'clock treble = ? o'clock sub harmonics = ? o'clock Please use the 'clock' system or even better post a pic of your amp settings many thanks jim

    hi there, i'm new here so i thought i'd say hello. i'm jim and i play bass in an oxfordshire based band called Glitterskin, (you can check us out at www.myspace.com/glitterskinmusic) I've been playing bass for about 2 to 3 years now, my rig consistis of: gibson epiphone thunderbird bass aria pro electro acoustic bass ashdown mag 300 15" combo akg wireless system and a nice array of boss pedals so that is me!
