  1. 5 string Bass with Jazz style pups.

Great sounding instrument that punches well above its budget priced weight.

Made alongside the Lakland’s in the Cort factory. The closest comparison in feel is the Lakland Skyline 5501 . This is passive however with different sounding pickups but the instrument certainly FEELS  similar to my old Lakland 5501.

Theres a ding at the top of the body and a dirty smudge at the top of the back of the neck from use. Not showstoppers by any means….

    Complete with Gator Hard case

Good fret life  lowish action great sounding B string.

    Grab yourself bargain

Any Queries ping me a message.

Selling due to upgrade to another Cort.

    Thanks for watching.

  2. Now £100

Lovely little plonk machine. Great for your first six string or later. I’ve just restrung with 010’s (Dean Markley ) and lemon oiled the fret board plays lovely with a nice low action. Only selling cos I play it more than my much more expensive EART Super Strat I bought recently which is currently feeling unloved 😀

    Will post at Buyers expense

    Any Queries… fire away.

  3. Hi everyone

I bought this from the lovely PaulS recently on this site.

I just cant get on with the slenderness of the neck (think Jazz then shave off another 1 mm)

I took it to my tech who did a tweak of the neck (personal taste nothing wrong with the neck)  and popped on some new Rotosound 40/60/80/100 strings on it so it's sounding glorious  has that precision growl aplenty. Comes with a soft gig bag.

Its basically a bargain for a US built bass. Alternatively looking for a trade of a  P type bass or similar (hit me up if you have an alternative....but not an Affinity level bass though shes worth a bit more than that..)

It's got bumps and marks and the paintwork is not pristine but gives the throaty roar of a pbass for those who like a slender neck.

Even has their take on the "micro tilt "neck adjustment of 70's Fender but with 4 bolts not 3.

    8lbs/3.6kg

    37mm at the nut

    19mm spacing at the bridge

Thanks for looking any questions fire away

Will post at buyers expense but equally available to meet up between London and Norfolk

Thanks to PaulS for the use of his original photos as my phone has a rubbish camera

Unfortunately have to sell to buy.

Your bass will probably be well gone by the time I sell mine

Incidentally, who do you use for insurance when you post ?

Usually i just pack the absolute hell out of it and get the buyer to sort any additional insurance above and beyond what the courier provides. I try to circumvent the need for it by bubble wrap and gig bag and double box( or hardcase) ive only had one issue in 11 years ago and ever since then ive just packed everything within an inch of its life. its served me well till now. but i understand things can happen.
