1. I am selling my Fender Squier Modified 70s Precision Bass (2010 Model) in showroom condition. It has a maple fretboard, yellow amber body, black scratchplate and high output Duncan Designed Precision Pickups. It has never been gigged and as you can see in the pics there is not one mark on it.
This bass looks fantastic, sounds fantastic and has a really fast playable neck.
See the link at the Squier site below for the full spec….

I bought this brand new from Hartnoll’s Guitars in Plymouth about 2 months ago along with a brand new Kinsman Deluxe Bass Guitar Bag KDEB9….

http://www.millennium-music.co.uk/products...tail/key/p/ppp/

I’ve always played short scale basses but bought this bass to try and get into playing a full scale 34”, I’ve tried for 2 months but can’t get on with the scale length so its back to the shorties for me!!

I love this bass and if I could get on with the scale length I would keep it.

I am looking for £190 for the bass and gigbag. I am based in Harpenden (Hertfordshire), so not far away at all from London and just off the M1.

The pics are from my mobile and don't really do this bass justice.

Cheers

Anyway, glad it looks like a deal's on here - cracking little bass!
Swapped this with my Yamaha BB414, happy days. Well happy, a great bass and Oggy is a top bloke

5.
Hi Basschatters,

I’m gutted  . I bought this 'Pictures and Description' from Derren two week ago on this site and I’m really happy with her; IMO it fits right in with the ‘Blues’ look sounds great and plays really well.

I really like her but my ‘so called’ band mates just don’t like her :snob: :) , it’s not the sound – they can’t fault that – it’s the look, they keep telling me it would be more suited to a ‘middle of the road’ band. I’ve argued the point but they just won’t be moved and insist that I use either the Mustang or my Gibson SG. I was going to keep her and use her at home but that seems a bit of a waste so I’m offering her up as a swap or P/X for a bass that is Short Scale and has more of a ‘Blues, Blues/Rock’ look or I’d be happy to P/X or swap for an electric guitar (I want to do a bit of rhythm guitar playing in a side project).

I hope you don’t mind Derren that I’ve used your for sale thread above, I’ve not taken any photos of my own, your photos and description are just right.

Oggy

PS. I'm away over this weekend until Sunday evening, if anyone drops me a PM or any thread comment, I won't be able to post answers until Sunday evening or Monday morning.
PM sent, Thanks oggy

Selling my Hofner Violin due to not being able to get on with the shorter scale. I bought it as I really like the Violins, and thought I would be able to get on with the scale but unfortunately cant.

Its only 3 months old and still in great condition, no scratches or knocks, not gigged just used for home use.

It is in sunburst.

Comes with a Hofner gig bag (well padded)

I am in Rotherham S.Yorkshire, can use courier if required, at buyers expense.

Offers around £400 please

I do have some photos but im having trouble getting them loaded up. Please message me if you'd like to see them and i can message/email them if you put in your address. Alternatively they are on the following link:

Hi Rob

I am looking for a semi acoustic bass. I like the idea of the Hofner but you can get them brand new online for £388

Would you consider a sawp for my Yamaha BB414?...see the link below

Thanks for the reply, much appreciated. I am looking for a hollowbody electric bass like a violin bass or a Jack Cassidy type with f-holes. Is your brothers Iby AEB like this? Cheers

8. Hi, I’m new to Basschat but have been buying and selling basses on ebay for a few years now. In August I bought a brilliant Yamaha BB414 in black from Manson’s in Exeter. The bass plays brilliantly, has a great action and the passive pickups sound brilliant and are very powerful. The chrome and black finish looks slick.

The BB414 gets excellent reviews, much better than the equivalent active model
Yamaha BB414 Review

These sell on the internet for £299.00
On Giggear Website

Since buying this bass, I have become involved in a Jazz project so am looking for a trade for a semi acoustic / hollowbody bass of similar value. I am interested in

Epi Jack Cassidy
Epi Allen Woody
Ibanez AFB 200
Aria TAB66

But what else has anyone got they’d like to trade? I’m in St Albans, Herts
Nice One
