Hi all, I am a newbie here so be gentle lol. Anyways, I have a few effects going on in my rig but I think i need a compressor to level out these effects. I am using a Marshall DBS7400 head which does have a built in compressor but it is rubbish (everything about the amp is amazing but the compressor). So my question is, can I add a 'lets say alesis 3630' rack compressor to my rig so I can squeeze my sounds without compromising on my tone at all, because I do love the Marshall. Do these compressors suck any tone out at all, or can anyone recommend a decent 'affordable' compressor. Many thanks in advance
