  1. Few fretless electric basses are as flat-out cool or have as much powerful tone as the Music Man StingRay. Introduced in 1976, the StingRay was the first bass guitar to feature active electronics and advancements such as a 6-bolt neck joint, contoured body, superior neck truss-rod system, and rock-solid bridge, all of which keep it on top of the pack. The StingRay is constructed with a select natural hardwood body w/ black scratchplate, unlined Pau-Ferro neck, Schaller BM tuners, 2-band active EQ, and a MusicMan humbucking pickup. Collection from London is preferred but am open to meet half way if outside. Message me with any questions.

  3. The Fortress Masterman is manufactured in Markneukirchen, Germany by Warwick Guitar Co. It features a solid flame maple body with a 3 piece Ovangkol neck with a beautiful Wenge fretboard. It has 24 bell-brass frets, and weighs in at a little over 7 pounds. The Masterman sports a passive MEC "twin J" pickup configuration set at the bass's "harmonic sweetspot". This configuration can be confused with a single humbucker. It also has Basslines 3-band active electronics which provide a very wide range of tonal options. The two piece Warwick bridge allows adjustment allows adjustment of the overall height, action and spacing of each string. Also it has the Just-A-Nut whitch allows string adjustments at the nut also. The tuning machines are Warwick and are sloped at a slight angle which in addition to giving the bass a distinctive look also falls at a more natural angle for the player's hands. All hardware is gold which gives the bass an even more elegant appearance. The two-piece bridge combined with the adjustable nut allows for a myriad of combinations. Getting the action to where it was comfortable was no problem at all. The ovangkol neck feel smooth under the hand and in my opinion is similar in shape and feel to a Jazz bass. This bass, because of it's wide tonal possibilities, can fit comfortably into pretty much any musical situation. However, I've found that it's cutting sound fits best into a straight Rock set-up. • 2-piece Flamed Maple body • Wenge neck -3-piece for 4-strings. • Wenge fingerboard • saddle width 38.5mm / 24. fret 63mm • neck thickness: 1. fret 21mm / 18. fret 24.5mm • bolt-on neck • long scale 86,4 cm • 24 frets from patented bronze / silver alloy • MEC active Pickup • active MEC electronic BEC II • 1 Volume / Balance stacked Pot, 1 stacked Bass, 1 stacked Treble • 2-piece Warwick bridge • chrome hardware • length 111.5 cm • weight 4 kg.
