Forgot I had this advertised bump

I bought this brand new in (I think) 2013. Immaculate ungigged condition with the exception of one small ding (pictured) that I managed to do in my excitement the day after picking it up.


Based in the north east (Washington), but will post at the buyers expense if fully insured.

hey, would you be willing to package for a courier if i organised it? This would be a nice replacement for my current ton-weight of a cab and fit nicely with my gk 1001rb.

I thought if i put it up at a low price it'd get money quick.... guess i was wrong! haha

Have had this for a fair while and only scratched the surface of what it does. to be honest the last 6 month of so, its just been an oversized tuner for me so i figure i might as well let it go. Condition is generally good but the bottom is pretty scratched up from being stacked ontop of my amp which had exposed screw heads (doh) but other than that its immaculate.

comes with original power supply and manual. I swear i had the original box somewhere but can't seem to find it at the moment, will look harder.

and replied. bit more specific on the trades front. head wise ideally i'd go for something lightweight like a terror bass, shuttle 6.0, little mark, but i could be tempted by something less diminutive. and as for cabs, i'm after a neo 4x10 really, probably end up buying new though.

any up for sale again. i'll take £250.
want it gone as i'll be getting a replacement in the next week. still open to trades, heads and cabs. will be putting up my marshall 4x10 in a separate ad.

where are you based? and would you be interested in splitting? may be interested in the 411.

and ive only just realised, there seems to be alot of threads on here lately about the GK MBE cabs...... oops.

Well chaps, i could do with a few opinions if you don't mind.

My back is telling me to get a new cab.
At the moment i'm playing a trace v-type head through an old marshall jubilee 4x10 which weighs around about the same as a small planet.
the amp only puts out 280w @ 4 ohms, but through this cab i've never really felt lacking. although in the near future i do see myself going for something like a LMII or shuttle 6.0.

basically, originally i was looking for any lighter weight solution that will still give me the oomph i need in a dual guitar blues rock band.
i've browsed for a bit on the classifieds, considered barefaced bass and matamp, but i just can't afford £500+ at the moment.
well these GK MBE series cabs have caught my eye.
both the 2x12 and the 4x10 around the same weight (20kg) similar sized and can take a good amount of power, 600 for the 2x12 and 800 for the 4x10.
and what caught my eye most is the price, both come in at under £350, which for a lightweight cab seems very cheap.

long story short, has anyone tried out either of these cabs?
or even if you haven't played them, any input on the 4x10 vs 2x12 debate?

my guitarist just got a marshall class 5, well he won it. its a nice little amp actually. sounds a bit thinner than his gigging setup, but that might just be because its a smaller amp / smaller speaker. breaks up nicely and has a pure blues tone.
