Right chaps,
Seems like there's a lot of people on here building their own effects so it might be a good idea to have one thread where we can have all of the hard work in one place. Hopefully one of the mods will sticky this for us.
What got me into effects was 2 separate things. 1st was a request from my guitarist to build him a loop pedal and 2nd was all the recent threads about the effects which made me think ''I can do that'' and of course the fact that I'm unemployed until 11th of A
Simple Zoom up/down patch switcher.
I wanted a simple way of going up and down through patches on an MS-60B - this would also allow one effect in each patch to be switchable.
This uses the Arduino Pro Mini (3.3V version) and a USB host shield, which keeps it all in a compact format. It does require a minor modification to the host shield as the Zoom pedal will take power from the USB connection, which needs to be at 5V. This is the USB host shield I used: https://www.ebay
